Quest about Moghedien end of LoC start of aCoS

Featured Replies

I may have read this wrong (or listened to it as it were as I have been doing the audibooks because of my work schedule). I am fairly certain that Arangar released her from the A'dam at the end of LoC and in Egwene's first PoV chapter in aCoS she puts on the braclet as if they are still linked...Is this some kind of major plot twist? (If so please don't spoil) or did I just hear what I am listening to incorrectly?

You heard correctly, it's just that the Egwene's chapter takes place slightly before the end of LoC. So you get the same event from another character's perspective. By the time you get to the last books, we're jumping around in time all over the... time.

I see, kind of makes sense with the overall themes of the book was just a bit confusing thanks though (and sorry I think this is in the wrong place)

not a problem, I'll move it over to the general discussion board

ETA - although the questions pretty much been answered.

Well, put Goaswerfraiejen. Well put. I always looked at that as a flaw in Book Seven. That's the best explanation I've ever seen of the discrepancy.

It wasn't a discrepancy to me, because I read the series again. And again. And again. I am constanly surprised at how well Jordan's books link in together. The last three books are tied in through foreshadowing, and are just as good as the rest in my opinion.
