I believe in the the gift rule, so...

 

1 a beach house.

2 a book deal

3 more time to appreciate both.

In all seriousness, all I really want is to spend time with my little family where we're not fussing or complaining. Probably not go to happen, but I am being for it, anyway. I have everything I want and need. :-)

 

 

OK, maybe the more time thing...

Well the thing I really wanted this Christmas I am getting: driving half way across the country to see my brother, his wife, my 2.5 year old nephew, and my new nephew who was born this past Friday.  

Along with that.... I want good driving weather! So far, it looks like I am going to get it. 

I got some cooking stuff that I wanted for Chanukah and candles.

I didn't really want anything this year, so when my sister #3 asked, I told her "world peace, enlightenment and a castle."

 

Well, she and sister #4 got me a world puzzle map, a candle and an incense burner shaped like a castle.  :3

I had to cancel plans to go see my nephew for his birthday ( boo-hiss!). 

 

I had to cancel New Year's Eve Dinner plans, which had become a tradition with us. (boo-hiss!). 

 

I did get $150 in gift cards to B&N between my MiL and the kids in my class, though! hehehe, my husband even let me go to the bookstore unharassed for two whole hours on the 26th. It was great. I need to do it again, just to smell the air... 

I went to B & N last night. I could stay in there forever.

I usually need someone to monitor my wallet.

Lol.

I have an addiction to books. And I can't seem to walk out of B&N without a new journal, either.
