Green Ajah Festival of Lights Snowflake Contest

Featured Replies

Welcome to the Green Ajah's Festival of Lights

Snowflake Contest!

How it works: you go here to the Snowflake Maker. Each day we will have a "theme". You post your snowflake here, after you make it on the snowflake maker.

If you miss a day, you can always post a previous theme snowflake - just make sure it is labeled for each theme.

At the end of the Festival, I will choose a winning snowflake for each theme!

I will start today with the theme of "Stars".

So, good luck, and let the snowflakes fly!

And have lots of fun.

Helpful posting tips for Snowflakes:

Once you finish your snowflake, they will have you post it, with your name and then they give you a number. You can insert whatever name you want, this just saves your snowflake into their gallery.

After you save it to their gallery, they give you the option to download your flake.

After you choose to download, you get a few options of how you want to save your snowflake. The top option is to get your snowflake as a JPEG. This is what I do. When you click that option, it pulls up a new page with your image. Save it to whatever imaging service you use - I use Imgur. Then, just post your Snowflake here for the contest.

Here is a snowflake as an example - it isn't the best "star" theme, but it has some little Christmas trees, some little hearts, and some little things that were my stars.

Those are awesome!

Today we will have the theme of trees! Good luck, and I'm excited to see everyone's tree pattern snowflakes!

Remember, if you didn't see this yesterday, you can still join in. Just make sure you label your snowflake with "star" or "tree" so I know which day of the contest it goes with! Thanks everyone!

Ok...this one was better!

That snowflake maker is hard!

Yeah but it's pretty fun to see what happens lol

GRRRR I have a snowflake but photobucket isn't working

Time to create a random gallery thing on here :P

I just view my snowflake and then pin it to pinterest, even image urls that you can't post in the forums can be posted through pinterest

The "t's" could also work for the trees, couldn't they ? XD
