Happy New Year my friends! Was 2013 a good year for you and did you accomplish/come close to accomplishing your goals that you set? Is there anything exciting that you're looking forward to this year?

 

I'm excited that I get to start working at the pool this year. When summer comes around, if I do well, then I might get to try and become a Lifeguard!

I am envious of anyone who can learn to swim easily. I have been swimming since grade 1 and I can only do freestyle and backstroke. I can't even dive :(

 

DM wise, 2013 has been amazing. Most of the things that are in my siggy happened in 2013.

 

RL wise, hectic and tiring though I learned lot of things this year.

LOL that's the two styles I can't master. Breaststroke is so very easy and I'm actually doing better in butterfly too.

Butterfly is my favorite to do for fun.

maybe i'll need swimming lessons next time i'll go on holidays ... if i'm not more tempted by reading a good book next to the swimming pool (like always)

It's the other way around for me. In breaststroke and butterfly you need to do very similar things with your legs and arms, easy to find a harmony.In backstroke and freestyle you need to do two very different type of motions and that's a problem for me. I can do it alright, but I don't like it and I'm not good at it.
