I find the Game of Thrones badly written, boring and overrated.

The TV show is good though :)

Kind of hoping that might be the case (seems like just the thing that actually might be better as a TV series than a book), but I haven't watched any episodes yet. I'm very wary of watching any series that hasn't been finished yet. Tried a few times and always hated it.

I've never read The Hobbit.
