Welcome to the White/Brown Ajah's Winter Olympics Carnival Pictophone Game!

We are going to do things a bit different since we don't have enough players for teams. Here are the rules/directions:

Using a random generator, your names will be put in order forum 1 to 6. Person 1 will start us off. I will send them a word/phrase. They will have roughly 24 hours to draw a picture that best captures that phrase. This could be done in any number of ways—for example, breaking down the phrase into each word, or doing a larger, all encompassing drawing to represent the phrase. Player 1 will send their drawing to Player 2 (with ME copied in the PM), who will then interpret the drawing into a phrase. They will have roughly 24 hours to send the phrase to Player 3. Player 3 turns the phrase into a picture, and sends it to Player 4. Player 4 turns the picture into a phrase, and sends it to Player 5. Player 5 draws a picture and sends it to Player 6, who has to interpret. Once Player 6 is finished and they send it to me, I will post their phrase and we can see how it's changed from the original phrase. Once the round is over, I will post the drawings as well. :D

Points will be awarded as I see fit—ie, there's no general rule. For example, if Player 2 guesses two of the three words, I would give 5 points for each correct word. Or, if Player 3's drawing is very clever, I will give out merit points for that (again, it's not artistic ability we're looking for).

With the set-up being this way, I'm sure we can get through a couple rounds. For Round 2, we will move every player up one spot, so people who drew in Round 1 will guess in Round 2; people who guessed in Round 1 will draw in Round 2. We can play as many rounds in the time we have!

So, here is the line-up for Round 2 (including Round 1 Points):

1. Kukasö - 4
2. Theodora - 5
3. Aiel Heart - 4
4. TylerRVG - 4
5. Chaelca - 5
6. Rhea - 2

7. WolfbrotherKronos - 3

(8. Mr. Mashi - 1)

Remember to include me in the PMs. If you don't you will not win any points for the round!

And… Go!

Hooray, I get to draw!

Hopefully this time I won't bugger it up by writing text on the picture like that one Pictophone game I played here last year! Ahah.

Okay, Rhea sent me her picture, and my husband just gave me a phrase to match it!

Round 1 is over!  Here are the pictures/phrases sent, as well as a break down of everyone's points!

Original Phrase:

Bobsled

Kronos' Drawing:

Points: 3!  Great job with the simplicity tactic, but a arrow to the bobsled would have given you 5 points.

Kukaso's Phrase:

Bobsleigh team slides down the track

Points: 4!  Great guess with what the picture showed!

Theodora's Drawing:

Points: 5!  Great way of breaking down every word into a phrase, however, I feel that it might have been too difficult to interpret.

Aiel Heart's Phrase:

A bobsledding olympic Team slides south down a slope

Points: 4!  Near perfect interpretation of Dora's images!

Tyler's Drawing:

Points: 4!  Again, great job showing all the words mentioned!

Chaelca's Phrase:

The bobsleigh is heading south, down a sunny hill ?

Points: 5 (including 1 bonus point for making it into a question)!  Great catch on south!

Rhea's Picture:

Points: 2!  Great artistry, but a bobsled usually has four people in it.

Mr. Mashi's Phrase:

Luge

Points: 1!  He didn't try very hard, I'm thinking.  :P

That was a great Round 1!  I will move everyone's name up a place in line, and we can start Round 2!

Ahaha!  I wasn't sure if it's just bobsleigh or a more complicated phrase so I decided to include all possible words

I'll send a picture a little bit later.

The bobsled looks fun.

The luge looks insane.

Seriously, give it a watch when it's on
