Black Sails - Season 1

Anyone catch the premier?

I've gotta admit despite the action at the beginning I wasn't really hooked.

But by the end of the episode...yeah I want to see where this is going.

Last time I'm going to bump this thread since the season finale aired.

I think the show has been pretty great and I'm really surprised no one but me appears to be watching it.

If you haven't heard of it or if you were on the fence just check out the first episode.

I was hooked by the end of it and you can pretty much get the tone of the series from it.

Season 1 is only 8 episodes long btw.

Is it fun in a cheesy way like Vikings?

I haven't watched Vikings but it goes back and forth on being cheesy.

Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.

Here is a good example of the cheesy humor they sometimes inject into an otherwise pretty serious story.

I got really hooked on the show and thought it built up some great momentum for Season 2. The season finale was fantastic. Already looking forward to next season!
