In several places, Egqene says how she hates spinning because it hurts her fingers from twisting the fibers. If she's using her fingers to twist the fibers, she's doing it wrong. The spinning wheel or spindle twists the fibers, and all your fingers do is pinch and release to control the amount of spin that the spunning wheel puts into the fibers. um also the pinching releasing thing hurts my fingers. she's young but if she had a lot of spinning to do it might, even on a wheel?
