I know this makes me appear like a whiner and possibly a troll though I feel I'm very far from that.

 

I loved what BS did and think nobody could have done better.

 

So maybe this isn't my biggest gripe but still ranks high up there.

 

Outside of Olver living for 5 paragraphs after intro without dying from sudden onset syphilis or ebola, I think Mat was treated as an 8 year old twit in MoL.

 

Mat was many things, stupid not amongst them ...mostly, he always reminded me of a sort of Han Solo, lol.

 

But in MoL, he behaved so stupidly in his interations with Tuon and other characters that I find it very hard to believe that anyone, much less Egwena, would entrust possibly the fate of the world to him.

I think BS admitted he mishandled Mat.  Though I think he did a better job with Perrin then RJ.
