Belgium? Nah.... you need to come to Portland, Oregon. Belgium doesn't have world-famous VooDoo Doughnuts. Or me.

It's this famous doughnut shop...it has a whole bunch of weird flavors and stuff. I watched a food network thing on it or something.

OOOH! Voodoo donuts! Good thing I'm only a few hundred miles away... 

My favorite is the actual VooDoo Doughnut-- glazed, roughly in the shape of a person (torso, arms, head), and filled with red jelly. So it bleeds when you stab it with the accompanying pretzel stick.

 

Honorable mentions: Maple-Bacon bar (maple bar with bacon... been around since before the bacon craze made that seem almost normal) and the oreo crumble.

 

They also used to have one filled with Pepto, but the FDA shut it down since that is a drug and has to be regulated.

 

 

All you need to remember.... if it comes in a pink box, it is delicious!
