How many do you remember? My best score is 115. I would have gotten some more points if I only knew how to spell them in English. :D  Sadly I miss most in Africa. I need to study the map again. When I was 12 years old I think I could have done much better.

Checked the map some more and now I got 124. I don´t expect to learn all of the small islands but I should be able to learn at least 150. 

LOL I got 64 on my first try XD I have a complet brainfreeze on everything eastern european and african and south american

Aaaand now I had to watch Nations of the World like five times to see if anything stuck XD

137. Could have done better but I didn't know the spelling for some. Took me at least a minute to try to spell "Philippines" correctly. I never figured out how to correctly spell French Guiana.

i won't even try that quiz, i have bad memories about geography at school

69 points for me, and that was with my husband's help. Of course, it's 5 am here, so maybe I could do better if I wasn't so sleepy.

"French Guinea" is not a place. I was referring to French Guiana, a country in South America. Also, New Guinea is not a country - it's an island that is half Indonesia, half Papua New Guinea. The Guinea's are Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Papua New Guinea.

 

My new high score is 152 by the way.

I have the hardest time with Africa and some of the islands.

History lesson for those younger than me: A lot of the current countries didn´t exist when I was younger. It was still Jugoslavia and USSR. Now they have split up in a lot of countries. On the other hand, Germany is now one country. Some have changed names. Myanmar - that must be fairly new, right? 

Myanmar is like an alternate name for Burma. (But Burma works on the quiz)
