Hello, I just joined here and was wondering, before creating a character to join in the rp, when in the timeline of the books is the community roleplaying right now?

 

I'm a longtime WoT fan and finished aMoL last year. I'm looking forward to having some great RP on here with you all. 

 

Is there a 'newbie primer' thread somewhere? If so, please direct me to it.  Do the Warders or Band have their own website page? I saw the WT http://whitetower.aliciawilkerson.com/ and BT http://blacktowerdiv.wordpress.com/about/ pages regarding character design and roster. I was planning to make a Warder, Asha'man, and Aes Sedai soon. and wanted to make sure that I followed the right rules to do so.

you are right the boards u mentionned are connected to the role play (but they are only a part of it).

 

Best place to start is where Ryrin sent u (in the Welcome Inn). Good to hear that you will be joining the White Tower, i'm also starting a character there.

Hello and welcome to our site. 

 

In addition to the RP section you seem most interested in I would suggest checking out our Social Groups as a great way to get to know some of our members, have fun and discuss common interests. I can personally comment on two of the social groups I'm a member of; First is group is the Black Tower which is an overall fun place to go for fun, games and just plain oddities (We're tainted there so there's a lot of silliness). The Second the Band of the Red Hand, of which I am LG of the Archers Division where we enjoy discussing music, travel and food. There are a number of other Social Groups you can check out so please do so and join the one(s) that appeal to you.  You may join as many groups as you like so check them all out when you have the time and have fun!
