I had re-read the series up to the latest release a few times, and then stopped with Knife of Dreams. After Robert Jordan died, I wanted to wait until the whole thing was done before reading the rest. Well in March I decided to go for it, and read all of Wheel of Time from start to finish.

 

I just finished A Memory of Light tonight. Wow. What an incredible end to this series. I was reluctant to put every book down (even the slow ones (story development, man, these details are important)), but #14 was just so so good. I'm by no means a fast reader, but I read it in two days, which is quick for me. I had to do so much stuff around the house, got nothing done, and it was worth it.

 

I just needed to join this forum so I could gush. Now I'm going to go read something that isn't fantasy...

 

When was the last time I brushed my kids teeth? Oh god, what have I....IT WAS SO AWESOME!!!!

Was given book 1 the day before Robert Jordan died.  Started my first time through shortly after that; and bought each of the books.  Finished first time of Knife of Dreams around the time of the hardback release of Gathering Storm.

I think I pre-ordered each of the Sanderson paperbacks; at least Towers of Midnight and Memory of Light.  bought Gathering Storm hardback.

 

Second time through the series, started almost immediately after finishing Gathering Storm hardback; starting with the prequel.  Not sure when I finished second time through.

 

am on my third time through the series; am at Lord of Chaos.  started this time through October 2013.  skimmed through various parts of Memory of Light shortly after getting it.
