    An awesome day after mine own heart ...

    Mine was awesome cos I got my two-wheeled baby back from the workshop with a full service and two new tyres - the ride home was a dream - definitely awesome!

    My cousin has an SV650.  It's a great canvas for lots of little mods.  And I def enjoy riding his bike since it's so light.  Lots of fun in the twisties.

    And yep, the SV is super fun; light, flicky, beautiful handling... and like you said a good canvas for mods. Have a few in mind, including potentially a full fairing that looks something like this... 

     

    Would've loved the thou' version, but it's actually clunkier to ride ... and love me my R1s or even better 'busa's ... but know I'd end up as a patient with either of those, so SV for now it is!

     

    (Until I get old, and then it'll probably be a harley, right Brid? :tongue: )

    This made me laugh Dice, have you heard of all the drama up here in Qld related to outlaw mc gangs at the moment? State Gov's cracked down on 'bikies' and as a result us normal riders are even supposed to register any group rides involving more than 3 riders...

    That's crazy about the "motorcycle gangs."  Somebody has been watching too much Sons of Anarchy. 

     

    This is my cousin's SV.  My favorite mod that he did is to wrap the pipes in exhaust wrap.
