Wooly in my view, you understrand it better when you are reading the audio books, because they read slower than you normally would, they know how to sound wierd words (or words in the OT), and they emphasize the right words. Not that I don't, but they do it better. And it's just nicer to have them read to you then read them yourself, at least for me it is. So for all of these reasons, I chose to listen to the audio books instead of read. Actually I did read The Lord of Chaos, and parts of The Dragon Reborn, The Fires of Heaven, and Shadow Rising.

Reading an audio book? How on earth do you do that?

*laughs*

Just a small taste of your own medicine with the ol' spelling! ;)

Sei'Cair I was refering to my best friend when I said that I think he was too lazy to read the books, not you dear. I should have clarified that better. I know you are familiar with the books.

Howdy Ogre! *wonders how he got so far behind in gretting Ogre...*

Well hi! *sees that thread is no longer on topic...*

oh well!

I read the books in 2 months! :P

I think it took me a month and a half to read the first 9 books the first time I read them. I finished all 6 harry potter books in one weekend though.

yeah the HP series is nothing... i was reading that level in.... oh 2nd grade...

my family didn't do much but read so i knew how before i was in 1st grade... at least i could well then, if not understand completely...

I was much the same, 12th. I come from a family of readers, so I'm quick!

well lately, I've been taking a speed reading course, and I am reading at like 800 words per minute with very good comprehension. The average adult reads around 200-240.
