Supposedly this is going to redefine the Survival-Horror Game genre.

I've read up on it - sounds like it is supposed to be a playable horror movie.  The original RE games were pretty creepy, and with graphics the way they are now, I'd expect this to be on a whole new level.

 

Gameplay-wise, though, I expect nothing really new.

I dunno, I've read some talk about combat being similar to Dark Souls. Though that might just be in terms of difficulty, and not the actual combat systems.

I'll definitely check it out either way - I like the creepy/scary aspect.
