Whedon off Wonder Woman, Murray agrees to Ghostbusters 3

Two bits of SF&F film news. First off, Joss Whedon has stepped down from his role as writer and director of the new Wonder Woman movie, citing creative differences with the studio. Nothing acrimonius, merely that it's a very high-budget film and with the studio feeling somewhat lukewarm about his ideas, he felt more comfortable developing his own projects.

Elsewhere, Dan Ackroyd confirms that he has talked Bill Murray into making Ghostbusters 3, eighteen years after the second movie was released. Because Murray has only agreed to provide his voice, the third movie will be fully-CGI-animated and will take the Ghostbusters to a parallel hell version of New York City. No word on release though.

Wow good info. I am surprised they are doing a third ghostbusters after the second one.
