I HATE COFFEE

Featured Replies

Coffee saved my life yesterday, when I pulled a double shift.  I started at 11:30 pm on Halloween day, then kept going until 3:30 pm on the 1st.  I had a triple latte before going in, and it really helped.  I had another cup of coffee at breakfast.

Wouldn't have made it without the coffee.

Coffee is dangerous (if I have too much, bad things happen), but there are times it's saved my life at work by keeping me awake.

So, yes, it's like fire... dangerous, but necessary in a controlled environment.

That being said, I also like tea. :)

Drink the Dew, like Basel.

coffee is very helpful for asthma attacks and helps

some meds work faster and more efficiently and is an excellent vasoconstrictor so thatd be a yes.

that's true about the asthma.  My mom used to give me coffee to fend off attacks when I was little, and it helps now that they're actually a problem.  >.>

Me too.  Albuterol gives me heart palpitations when it's in breathing machine form.

It is truly intriguing how it can be death to one person and quite literally save the next persons life....  Oh the intricacies of the human race.

On that note I have asthma and the stuff tries to kill me soooo....

Huh.  Well, it could be something else that causes that.  My little sister's depression/anxiety mean that she can't have a lot of caffeine, or it'll give HER heart palpitations and even MORE anxiety.

Everyone's different.  >.>

And that is why we must all conform and become Borg.  Only then will we be able to enforce an inter-galactic ban on all coffee related products.

I can't tell you how many times a warm cuppa has helped me feel human again after a long and exhausting day. My migraines are terrible and sudden and coffee helps relieve some of that intense discomfort.

It also helps keep me alert on the road.

You wouldn't happen to be from New Zealand would you?

I know it's a thread to encourage activity but I have trouble understanding why hate needs a club in general. like... if you hate coffee you can avoid drinking it?

I'm

starting to worry you

might be starting a groundswell

movement for prohibition...

*gets out her 'down with coffee' placard*

I don't like tea or coffee, and don't really like the smell of either.

The thing that is most annoying is the reactions that you get when I say I don't like them: some people are a bit confounded and can't seem to work out what I drink instead! :D

Just tell them you only drink the blood of your enemies, Via.  xD
