Here's the run-down on the play-off rules.

Instead picking a team in brackets and winning points if your team wins.

The play-offs are a-lot more volatile. Anyone can win in the play-offs.. If you're lucky enough.

The idea is simple.

You bet your existing points.

If you win, you add those points to your total.

If you lose, you lose the points you bet. You can bet 1 point. Or you can bet all your points.

With that in mind, I now direct you to the poll!

PS:

IF you have 0 points, or you are just starting,

I'll make a special exemption and grant you 5 points at the start of the Playoffs.

Half of the games. That way you have more distribution.

Bets can vary by game.

Also, then one mistake or fluke game won't ruin your chances.

So you're proposing something like

16 games = 8 max picks

8 games = 4 max picks

4 games = 2 max picks

1 game = 1 max pick

Correct?

Up the point values after each round.

Wild Card = 1x

Divisional = 2x

Conference = 3x

Superbowl = 4x

Or something like that.

You bet your own points, so whether or not one game ruins you is up to you.

This was my thinking.  If you want to go all-in on one WC round game, you can.  If you want to bet two points a game on literally every playoff game, that's your choice.

Aye. And even if you did go on every game, you might only just break-even.

Wwwombat could go all in, get it, and double his points right off the bat.

Or he could lose all but 5, and some newbie with 5 points could go all in, get 10, next game 20, 40, 80, ect.
