Watching the Ducks.

We're having a send-off dinner for my brother-in-law.  He's being deployed to Qatar in a few weeks for a six month post.  It's a safe country but they just had their third kiddo two months ago.

Qatar is a safe country. Is he in the Army? They could Skype so tha baby can see him.

He's an officer in the Air Force. I believe his deployment is for six months. I gave him an anthology of American poetry and verse to read over there but he forgot it at my parent's place. :/

I'd be really mad at myself at forgetting that.

 

Trying to get well from some type of flu.

This year is not starting well. Both Tadpole and I are running fevers and she's spent five hours tossing cookies this morning.

 

Yeah.

Illness is so going around. My son went thru 2 rounds of antibiotics and he still has a cough. I had a mini flu.

My fever shot up again last night and tonight is no different. I'm working on a week of this...

i won concerttickets today. Going to see Korn next wednesday. I'm excited
