I think it would be appropriate that i would apply for membership before flooding the entire social group with random thoughts and spam.

Seems like a fun bunch here, and i think i'd fit in without too much problems... i hope...

I especially like anything that's on fire! ;)

i'm careful about anything that involves fire *nods* I guess that comes with having been firefighter for 10 years

My son is in Fire Explorers and the Dept is hiring him as soon as he's 18.  He is going to complete his EMT this summer and then on to paramedic school.  He wants to obtain his associates degree in Fire Science.

That sounds awesome. I miss my firefighting days, but yeah, the local dept isn't hiring for some time. I'll just stick to my current job, which is ok with familylife.

There is something to be said for regular hours.

that much is true. It's easier to combine with family life.

 

But, i get my annual dose of heroism. I tend to come across accidents or medical emergencies at least 3-4 times a year without emergency services on scene. Good to know i still got the knowledge and instincts to help people.
