Not a big fan of football, but my son wanted to watch, so we put it on as background noise and worked on various medieval projects. I had no stake in the game, so we just had fun watching.

I imagine that it would have been more fun to watch live lobsters face off against giant steaming lattes, because that's what I thought of when I saw the game was New England vs Seattle.

nothing spectacular. Either going out to eat something, or will order delivery. I already have Chae's present (something she wanted some time ago)

I know, valantines is commercial, and you should love and celebrate every day in a good relationship, but yeah, we try to make a few days special per year.

I'm going to fighter practice. My parents are supposed to be coming down.

yeah, that's about it. I just want to sleep in...

For Valentine's we are actually going to be at our local SCA event, which is our war prep event, this year combined with Kingdom A&S.

What is this sleep of which we speak?

Sleep (noun): a mythological creature that bespells innocent victims during night. Bespelled people lose all control of muscles during the effect of the spell. Occasionally, a bespelled will hallucinate. If invoked by Sleep, it is called 'dream'. On rare occasions, Sleep attacks during the day, usually when the bespelled is enjoying a moment of rest on a bench, couch or sofa.

Lol, I've met that elusive creature in short visits. ;)

I'll be preparing for more snow. My city is officially the snowiest in the US. Yay! ;0p

I was worried about you getting snowed in, Brid.

Thanks Ry! The snow for today into tomorrow is luckily just going to be an inch or two. We're now getting ready for another big one on Saturday. This is insane!

Thane, luckily my insurance paid for my glasses, but I picked the super cheapos because I wear contacts most of the time. I remember when my insurance didin't and I went to one of the same day places and plopped down $400 for a pair because mine broke. It's crazy how expensive just the frames are.

That's awesome that she is excited about them.  Most kids hate the idea.  Good luck with the not losing them though...LOL
