there's a show here calked kitchen rules or something but it's just a normal cooking show, not a contest. it's quite good.

MKR here in Australia involves couples, which I guess makes it different from the likes of Masterchef. That's pretty much all I know. Oh, and civilians go to restaurants and judge their cooking, or something.

toast sounds good.... but I think we'll go for potatoes and sausage and stuff tonite.

We grilled sausages and chicken earlier tody. We = bf. :D  It was very tasty. It´s fun to grill in the middle of the winter.

our grill is electric and still in the box waiting for some kinda warm dry weather. so we'll use a frying pan. it'll be good.

is it as cold and horrible there as it is here? have they put the polar bears indoors because theyre freezing?

Sadly not. The snow is beginning to melt even though the temperature goes up and down during the weeks.

That is just "blackened" it is a delicacy in some places. or you can do like Basel says and scrape the offensive bits away. 

 

Don't feel bad tho until you have burned spaghetti. 

maybe a burnt offering of spaghetti will melt the snow....

 

ours doesn't melt. it just blows around. there's been more than three feet on the ground and snow banks no one can see over along all the roads for weeks. and snowman as big as the stapuft marshmallow man in ghostbusters.

 

pretty sure the end is nigh.

I don´t think I have done that. Although we have a "fun" story about me burning rice when I was like 10 years old, that my parents love to tell. 

pshaw. a few months ago I not only burned the rice but created such a sticky seal and powerful vacuum from the steam collapsing that I couodnt get the top off the pot. we had to toss the whole thing.
