BLACK ICE HAIKUS

Welcome everyone to Black Ice Haikus. In this game, you submit haikus related to a shadow or ice theme. Players will receive 5 points for their first Haiku entry and the person who submits the best Haiku (judged by yours truly) will win an additional 5 points. You may submit more than 1 Haiku but you will only receive 5 points for one Haiku, and 5 more only if you win. As per Wikipedia, "A typical haiku is a three-line quirky observation about a fleeting moment involving nature.".

Feel free to have fun and be really creative with this! And let the best (coldest and shadowiest) Haiku win

I am trying but don't expect me to get syllables right (and I am not even trying to get it right)

With a cool breeze blowing

Chill seeps things deep

Hidden by a veil of glass 

Until sun shatters

Don't worry about the correct syllables!

sunny winter day

icicles slowly let go

shatters against earth

Not really good but I'll give it a try

 

Cold Winter morning

Car begins to swerve

Black ice is dangerous

Awesome, more please  

Don't swim for the light

For that is ice

Swim for the dark of water

There's salt on my step

Because if it wasn't there

My bottom would be.

clear as finest glass

beware not to go too fast

for surely you'll crash

 

I think that adds up? maybe 

You are so good at this. Let´s see if I can do another one.
