Timmy go read my big post on Ley and tell me if you still think he's a villager for calling Darthe a bad word

Keep in mind I see DM wolves fake upset as an excuse to bolt the thread routinely

If you wait 10 mins I'll run out and pull them up

Darthe and ley are very interesting wagons.

Based on the thread flow it appears One of them will flip mafia more often than not

This will become especially true if one of them becomes indignant/one of them disappears and the thread seems like it wants to shift off these wagons

how close is deadline?

Deadline's in about 8 hours

I approve of Darthe schmoozing to get out of a jam

It's the corycurren way

I don't think this is accurate and will be aggravated if I have to vote Ley today.

Lol, you can join the list of cryptic people this game :)

The question is does that make me more or less likely to be townie iyo?

If the answer is "more likely" you get a cookie and a hug.

If not you will get a very perturbed stare

This exact line I've taken as mafia against against a villager countless times.

Countless.

I understand that you are not me but I just don't like it.

Regardless there's 8 hours till deadline so it's really not easy to assess whether or not we got a mafiat at the end of one of these wagons and odds are there's not even a mafiat in the thread atm (I'd wager at most one)

So we can't really tell if someone is scrambling to save/clumsily bus a buddy or if everyone is just content to let the wagons be.

I'd like both of you to be wagons a bit longer but I'm not keen on voting either of you just yet. Truthfully I'd like to find a thirt wagon to see how people react so I guess I'll start there

[V] seph [/v]

Well this sucks.  I don't want to vote Ley atm.  You guiz don't see Tina.

I see Tina being greater than random to be town.  Does that count?

I really don't see why anybody cares what a phase changer does at this point.

I don't know, yet. I like to have any pertinent game mechanic information public, though. Are you not concerned with figuring out how this game works?

I'm not concerned with figuring out how a dead Indy's role works.

Sup girl

You planning on dropping a vote anytime soon?

Yup, last VC had Darthe and Ley as the leading trains. What are your opinions on them both?

BFG stock down.

Can I say more likely to get a hug and then reserve my opinion till I've seen more? honestly this seems strange from you, I remember your town game as being quite direct, I'm not sure if you flagging it makes it better or not.

So your voting me without even telling anyone why? I don't get it.

All I found was this, and to be honest have no idea what it means.

Sept looks wolfy voting ley on page 29

Like I said

I'm burned out and really can't be bothered to care about much atm

I'm here to fill a spot and place a vote on hopefully mafia

Seph I explained when I was voting you and after the vote why I was voting you. I don't necessarily have to utilize my cote for the sole purpose of voting someone I think is mafia. There are many applications of a vote

For example: an off wagon vote to see how the rest of the thread feels about the person in question

This will likely happen more than once this game.

[V] seph [/v]

I'd say it as either alignment but it happens to be true today.  And as mafia I'd be certain I wasn't going to die today.

@Clov, yeah but I think you're wrong.

[v]Leyrann[/v]

I think Cory's case makes him a better candidate than Darthe ATM, and unless I missed it somehow, I don't think he's even acknowledged that he's an actual candidate for the day.  He wasn't the least bit afraid to mix it up in Darthe's Psycho game.

Manbat - I think it's probably a good sign for you trying to start a third wagon, but I don't think it's going to be helpful.  I don't know if you checked the rules, but this isn't a popular vote game.

I am town, clov, just trying to keep it interesting.

As for yourself I think you feel very reserved, which seems like it fits your style in either alignment. I hope you understand if I reserve my judgement on you for later.

As for other reads, I saw cory seemed pretty obviously a villager after 2 posts but it's still too early in the game to call him obviously a villager

Cory ily but be obviously a villager and xpost with me and do things that we do when we are v/v

I realize this entire post contains villager now but am too lazy to fix it

Here Timmy

LMK whatchu think

[v]Leyrann[/v]

Read a few of his previous games in the Meta game and one thing super in common with all of his villager games is that he is A) high volume B) high content and C) sort of kicks dirt everywhere for his own purposes

Here he seems crazy conservative, could see him on a Mafia team that wanted Ithi dead as well (if we're thinking that kill was a mafia daykill, which I've seen much more often than town daykills). Tonally he doesn't have too much of a problem emulating, going to rip some posts from a Mafia game I remember him reading where he had some good, villagery posts but failed to interact in real time and keep up his thread appearances

Darthe probably needs to be resolved sooner than later but I think these two have a lot of w/w equity

Expecting Mafia to play a linear, help-their-own-alignment type game is going to cause you heartbreak here

I've been spectating for like 9 months now and they rarely do anything but ~lurk and then make "big, content-filled" posts when called out on which gets everyone off their back

And it wins them 72% of the games so who's to say it's not viable anyway

I really like this post. I think it was more on the mafia side. Where can i find a previous game with him in it?

Mafia here: http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/86296-vampire-diaries-mafia-mafia-wins/

69 posts, subbed out after D3, about 10th in posts ITG

Could go back further but he seems to have a substantial volume tell

FWIW Leyrann has 19 posts in a about 3 RL days here, good for 9th in post count

If it LOOKS LIKE A DUCK and QUACKS LIKE A DUCK

I know "volume is lazy for reads" but it's also somewhat reliable and I'm more interested in being right than I am in having great "reasons" for thinking the things I do

@Clov, yeah but I think you're wrong.

I assumed you did.  But she displayed a very similar mindset to her town approach to survivors, so either:

1) She's the most consistent person in the world in that regard,

2) She's not necessarily consistent and went back to a game with a survivor to basically copy her previous stance, or

3) She's town again.

Most of what she's said this game I've thought was pretty likely to come from her as a townie, and I really don't fault anybody for pressing you as mafia based on you being pretty avoidant - and antagonistic - without too much reason to do so.  Your early push at Turin was just bad, and you should have known that.
