[Advanced] Mass Effect II mafia

Quick thoughts on NKs:  most likely an inexperienced wolf team altogether.  Thane has a penchant for saying things as a villager that make it easy to get him lynched.  It is actually part of his tells - when he's not saying anything that makes you raise your eyebrows, you should raise them because he's probably a wolf.  As a result, he was a bad kill.....but only for a wolf team that knows his meta well.  I got no inkling of him being a Cop, so I'm lost on why he was shot.

I read Maw's post as saying he wasn't willing to lynch anyone else as per now.

Sooh, can you explain what you meant by this post?  It was in reference to Mawth's reads list and how Ley reacted to it.

Ok yeah, I think Ley overreacted a bit to the reads list that Maw posted, and I was trying to explain how I saw it. I may have been a bit clumsy when expressing myself thought, because what I was actually thinking was that those two (Talya and Ley) were his PREFERRED lynches. I didn't really see anything very scummy in that.

That's what I thought.

You're basically playing both sides to every argument that has occurred in this game.  With me, you sussed me and then gave an out in the same post.  You support Maw and then sus him.  Same with Ley.

You're being very neutral and not taking any firm stances.  This allows you to lean whichever way the wind happens to be blowing.

Sooh - no I haven't done an ISO but I did reread the thread and didn't pick up on that. But fluff doesn't make wolf nor town. I will check tonight if I get chance and maybe you too. I don't think you have done too much this game.

You're absolutely correct on me not doing much. I've been having a guilty conscience over mafia for the last several days. I ended up playing three games at the same time, which is too much for me. I decided to sub out in BFG's game seeing as it's such a huge game and focus my efforts on the two others.

As for Mawt I haven't convinced myself that he is mafia yet. I'm leaning that way, but far from convinced. I think we need to focus on other players entirely for a while and rather come back to Maw. I would like to see how he handles just regular gameplay with no pressure.

I'm not sure what you're saying here.

Playing in three games and having almost no time for it. I feel like I'm letting people down when I can't actively go in and help solve more.

Not buying it.  You want to focus on other players, but you're leaning towards Mawt.....but far from convinced?  Could you possibly get any more fence-sitty?  Probably not.

Since when was my fence-sitting a scum tell?

There is a difference between being indecisive and fence sitting.  You can have suspects, clearly lay them out and support their lynch.....but be indecisive on actually placing a vote or being unsure who should be lynched over the other.

And then there is fence sitting and playing the neutral party on everybody.  You appear to want everybody to be a lynch potential, but won't openly support any of them - this allows you to have an out upon mislynching villagers, and a "I knew it!" upon lynching wolves.

No bueno.

Your play has ranged between jumping on trains, making some statements without being able to back them up, and being on the defensive. Right now you're my number 1 suspect.

No bueno.

Well perhaps this fence sitting around Maw is because he isn't a CLEAR suspect to me. He's reading a little scummy, but I don't have enough to case him.

Look Verb, I don't know your role or anything, but if you lynch me today the vig won't be able to make any more kills. My part here is the Enabler.

I'm aware I've been fence sitting. I mean to reread the thread now and then make my case.

Zander I am walking to work, so I have a hard time reading quotes that large.
Why ley?
Our of the two I think maw looked worse. I dont beleive i have ever played with a ley wolf, and i agree with verbal here on ley. I thought you had a post that you did as well?

right now to me it seems as the 3 most consensus maf reads come from Ley Maw and Talya.

Maw was really jumped on for his read list which I had no probs with.

Not ruling out Talya but I think it more towny frustration

And of these 3 I think Ley is the best choice.

Also looking at Thane but I think if hes a wolf he wont make it past day 2 anyway,

its also only day one so ill listen to other options as its a DL lynch but as of now Ley's where im at.

Who are you thinking seph and why?

This is the bold claim I was referring to regarding claim. Only way he knows this is if he's mafia and will kill Thane or will shoot him himself. Otherwise can't really make this statement.

It's how I interpret what you said. You're throwing around bold statements and becoming quite reactive when I call you out on them.

quite reactive? simply explaining things out.  my ONLY problem or re-activeness comes from you misquoting me and NOT responding to it.

i have no problem with being wrong or questioned my friend, or no real problem with how my comments are interpreted when they are quoted correctly anyways.

Here he says I misquoted him when in fact I didn't. My posts included his posts. When he argued it was a misquote I explained it was my interpretation. Given the night's outcome I expected him to come forward saying that he shot Thane actually. Felt his posts in response to mine got very emotional/reactive fast.

also thought i had voted already.

[v] Ley [/v]

This vote came very easily after talking about Sooh for the whole day. Felt there wasn't much behind it given how much time he had spent on Sooh for the rest of the day (with mentioning Thane sporadically as below).

particularly not standing out to me is actually that there's nothing stading out to me. Current players in game seem very cautious, which to me could be both allignments at this point. Talk yourself into something D1 as a townie, you'll probabbly be the first one going down.

it's ok, i'll answer that too.

Nobody is really pointing fingers yet, accusing anybody or drawing any attention to them. For me, that's cautious play. No bold moves yet. Ok, given it's early D1, sure, it might be a bit too early for things like that. But recently games have taken on very quickly. Don't get that feeling here at the moment

Thane droppin' wisdom on the thread like what.

he must be deep woflin it!!!!

Furthermore, in two posts which I've subsequently lost he refers to relying on Full Darthe to solve the case, and hoping we have a TownDarthe rather than a WolfDarthe.

Honestly while his other posts are sound enough for me given I have now ISO'ed him, these posts and interactions do stand out to me as scummy, reactive, and feel like his vote jumped around yesterday a fair amount. Given his posts yesterday would not have expected him to vote Ley. My thought is he wanted the lynch to stay there. Right now happy with my vote on Zander.

RTE others even commented on YOU MISREPPING ME!!!!  and your still avoiding it....the more you try the worse your looking man.

Again looked at the big red word.....

Zander, what are you talking about?

i dont believe your soft claim....like not at all Sooh.

*cringes*

RTE, you've basically just questioned people throughout this game and made it a battle of semantics between yourself and Zander. Yeah Zander spent a whole deal of D1 talking around the joke vote on me, but I never took that as a serious thing. I can't remember if he voted anyone else between me and Ley, but I think the Ley vote was one of his first serious votes.

I don't like your play this game. [v]RTE[/v]

From the flips I am looking towards maw and sooh.

An Enabler has no active abilities, but are told what kind of power role they enable. If they die, that type of ability may no longer be used.

This effect applies to all players with the enabled ability. A Doctor Enabler's death will cause every Doctor in the game to become useless.

Enablers are usually, but not always, Town.

Don't mean im buying it.
