Did anybody add me to Skype recently?  I have a new contact request that doesn't look like any of the spam ones I've been getting with some regularity.

Hmmm I already had you on my Skype list but when I went into it for the first time recently it was playing silly beggars with duplicate names. Something to do with amalgamating my msn messenger into it. Pretty sure mine would come up with Taymist on it somewhere though. You don't have any details like an email?

It was a Yahoo! email address, and the Google search I did on it came up with a legitimate address and person attached to it, but I don't think I know them.

How odd. Definitely not me then. I don't use yahoo. Maybe they got you mixed up with someone else when they did the add.
