I have no problem with Laines tone this game so far. Thats why i have no problem with her vote on me as I read it as what it is a revenge vote for last game not meant seriously

As for those lost on what they're talking about, I snapped at Dice for a vote on me last game and I was mafia. He's saying that cairos' reaction wasn't the same as my overreaction and shouldn't be treated as such.

My reaction was that it's funny for somebody to vote on another without a reason. Yes this is mafia and yes we can vote for whoever we want. I was asking Clov why he voted for me. Also as Dice said i have played mafia in a while so I'm a bit rusty.

that's the thing about start of day votes, they're generally for little to no reason, we tend to always start out with joke voting or voting for reactions. Being that you hadn't really said anything it was, to me, a joke vote and held little weight in the game. The reason I was thrown off by your reaction was that you had one at all.

That being said, based on numbers if I had to guess I would say at most only one of the active posters is scum. Hope this game sorta wakes up soon (although nice not to have missed much).

 

So far if I had to sum up the game I would say:

 

Laine and BFG tripping over words and spending a lot of time and effort to explain themselves to each other

Clov asking Dice to explain a post and Dice not understanding what Clov didn't get 

Other people checking in and newer players trying to get involved

Underlined I was thinking the same thing, generally there's at least one talkative and one hanging back. If you were to name scum out of those highest posters, who would it be?

 

Red: BFG nitpicks. I'm trying to outdo her nitpicking. :laugh: Granted, there still isn't a ton of information and a lot of low interaction with some of the players. Things will flesh out a bit once everyone is comfortable.

I'm eating now, but she's not home, so I'll wait for her to show up before I put food out. The neighbor's cat (my aunt's cat) likes to team up with her two Chihuahuas to starve my own kitty. :dry:

Oki I'm here. Going to need to read thoroughly from the start of the actual game. I have been reading, but not as though I was playing :smile:

Based on the interactions and those who were involved, Dice's remarks are the only ones I see coming from someone who might be scum.

 

You and BFG's are too nitpicky to put your neck out for if you're scum, Clov's look town to me, and that leaves Dice, whose reaction to Clov can go either way based on my experience with him.

 

That's my hunch thus far anyways. But most of the scum team are definitely not here..

All right, I'm on cold medicine right now, so all I really want to do is sleep and be able to at least breathe a little bit.  Apologies if I don't make any sense.  This is just mostly what I've noticed as I've read through.

 

I'm feeling alright on the interactions between Laine and BFG, I think I can see where they're both coming from.  I do think it was interesting how Laine felt that her posts were being explained for her, and I think that reaction is understandable - given that she was present and someone else was interpreting her words for her.

 

I'm also liking Dice's responses to Clov as well.  They seem sensible to me.  Cairos' response to Clov's vote on him does seem excessive at first glance, but with no explanation, the fact that day 1 had just started, and the fact that he hasn't played online for a while make me believe that it is more genuine curiosity.

 

Clov is asking questions that for me at least, seem intended to clarify things and make people respond definitively toward things he brings up.  I haven't noticed a lot of fence-sitting, but he looks like he's trying to eliminate any of that, so he's looking good in my book.

 

That's all I've been able to focus on right now.  I'm hoping that I'm feeling better so I can come back and look through things with a clearer head and dig through for quotes to put more concrete things together.  But feel free to ask me any questions you want, I'll do my best to answer.

I get the feeling of town going after town on most of the active people right now - just a hunch mostly.
