We're finally getting the dictionary but I hope that's not the end. Just some ideas for books I'd enjoy:

 

RJ Biography 

Letters

"Reader" of errata not included in the dictionary & other RJ writings, like articles & such

Essays about WOT from different perspectives (literary analysis, historical parallels, philosophy etc.) 

More comics!!!

Inexpensive trade paperback edition of the old Companion with good black & white line drawings replacing the garish originals 

Book of maps

Illustrated editions :) 

 

The "complete" Ebook lacks Strike At Shayol Ghul & Ravens :P But makes space for a few chapters from some Brandon Sanderson book . . . not kosher, needs to be fixed! Also would work better with composite glossary instead of each book's individual glossary. 

 

Any other ideas of spin-offs?

letters from Robert Jordan; I imagine they will eventually be published by some company.  There are published letters from J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.

 

biography of Robert Jordan and Wheel of Time essays; I imagine there will be many of both from various authors.  the two authors I mention, there are of many for them and their works; also their friends.

There are a ton of great essays at the 13th Depository. I've literally spent almost every free moment over the past four days just reading some of them...

Maypoles connect the earth, and the growing things thereupon, with the sky; they are symbols of the world tree and the axis mundi, the axis around which the world turns. Their location represents the cradle of the world, the world’s point of beginning. In the Wheel of Time series, the maypole on the Emond’s Field village green is literally the point of the beginning of the story.

 

One of the functions of the maypole is as a conduit for blessings to descend from above. The three ta’veren spun out to correct the Pattern are an expression of such blessings; and the strongest of them, the Dragon and Creator’s Champion, is literally the hope and salvation of the world. The three unlit bonfires beyond the village green represent the three young ta’veren. Ishamael more or less confirms this:

 

Ordinary men may hide in the sweep of the Pattern, but ta'veren stand out like beacon fires on a hill…

I LOVE stuff like this!

 

Reminds me of my high schools days when my English teacher brought up similar hidden meanings in 'Huckleberry Finn': such as the city Cairo on the mighty Miss, and the sunken steamboat in it.

 

Are their any threads here relating to hidden themes or easter eggs from the WoT series?

 

This is what I am interested in most regarding the series at this point in time.

As for Easter eggs, I'm afraid they are scattered throughout the essays, not just in one place. However, Easter egss in the Character names and place names are in those articles.

I love that site but I'm talking about a physical book :) 

They have the first page of Warriors of Altaii? I thought he insisted that be burned on his death?

There are a ton of great essays at the 13th Depository.

 

There are 3-5 good essays, but the rest: just overthought 'wiki' articles. No offence.

I always recommend C,J.Cherryh's books, but because I have read and I think she deserves a read.
