A lot of people think that Luke has turned to the dark side which is why we've not seen a trace of him thus far.

i reckon theres NO WAY luke is Dark.  this is the Skywalker story after all

Lucas once stated that R2 and 3CPO will be in all the films, and there's a 2 second glance of R2 and (suspected luke) in one of the trailers.
