How did you welcome this year?

 

 

I slept.

Enjoyed a few beers at my computer and watched the ball drop with my son Ollie (he's been taking after me and rarely goes to bed before 1am lately) <_<

 

I used to go to the same New Years party for like 15 years, but it's hard to keep in touch with people as you get older. I don't know if they even still have it anymore.

Listened the last songs in the Top 2000, which is an annual Dutch event where everyone can vote on their favorite songs, and it ends just before midnight. After that, I went outside with my family to look at all other people's fireworks, and at 12:45 we went to a crowdfunded firework event that's just around the corner every year. When that was done, we spent some time showing one another good music (only one song each though, because we have a habit of liking long songs), and then we all went to bed, and now I woke up not 5 hours later already because **** sleep, 7 am you're awake no matter what.

Oh, yeah, and before that, we also played some games together. (as in, family games)

I'm at work on the ambulance!

I ate a good dinner with my family. We played our  yearly New Years billiards tournament and played Clue. At midnight we went out and saw the neighbour´s fireworks and sent out a Chines lantern. We woke up way too early since my bf had to work. 

Played some games with friends until early morning.
