This seems pretty bad. How does adding expensive services such as voice/video chats supposed to solve budget problems...?

I really really really hope this is an April Fools Joke. Otherwise, Speaking frankly - that is the most insane thing I have ever seen in regards to running a website and it is almost guaranteed to kill it. Five dollars to change your avatar, one of the most basic features on any forum? Charging to change signature? That is basically the forum equivalent of fee-to-pay gaming, but this does not come with a video game and a lot of attractive customisation. If money is an issue, they should have tried opening a patreon account and seeing if members donate, and that would guage just how much the members are willing to pay to keep the site running, instead of jumping ahead and putting the nails in the coffin.

Oh wow, I forgot it was April Fools. Yea, I agree with Taltos, this is a way to kill a site. Seems very much like an April Fools joke.

I seriously effing hate this stupid day. This isn't funny, DM.

Might be a good idea to take it off the front page now the joke's over... It happened the day after the main forum page got chopped up and it might put people off :/.
