Movie, TV Series, Mini Series, etc.

Certainly WOT would never work as a TV mini-series. Most mini-series consiste of 2-5 episodes and there is no way the breath of WOT could be contained in so few episodes. If WOT were to be formated for televison I think the term' date=' "Macro-series" would be more appropriate. I like the idea of WOT being done as an episodic TV Drama, however, I don't think it need be one book per season. Typically, tv dramas occur in hour long episodes and a typical season consists of 26 episodes. Therefore, I'd say they could do at least two books per season. I know these are rather hefty books, but 13 hours should be more than adequate time to cover one book.[/quote']

What breadth? Sure there's a lot of detail in the books, but most of it is filler . . . and any descriptive detail can be shown on film much faster than in the books.

red eagle is developing the live-action feature film version of eotw . . . i don't know what the eta is on that.
