any late night watchers out there? Would you switch to Conan over Letterman? I am not a big Leno fan myself but do like Conan... it is way after my bed time though.

 

NBC has locked up the services of Jimmy Fallon for some sort of late night project, which may or may not be the host of Late Night, when Conan O'Brien (thankfully) replaces Jay Leno as the host of The Tonight Show in 2009 (which can't come quickly enough). Fallon is close to Lorne Michaels, whose Broadway Video produces Late Night, and who would presumably have the opportunity to choose a successor to O'Brien.

 

This doesn't necessarily mean it's happening, though. It just means that NBC wants to have a crack at Fallon when the time comes, so they're giving him a little money just in case. If you are reading, NBC, we here at TheFeed are available to audition for your late night progammes any time, so if you want to offer us a holding contract, we will almost assuredly take it.

 

Especially if it involves a swimming pool.
