Well I'm sure it was a fabulous looking (and tasting) pot of Matso ball soup.

The pies look awesome Killashandra!

I'm going to be making a vanilla bean strawberry cheesecake, and a banana rum caramel cheesecake for my niece's high school graduation party next month (the rum will be cooked 'in' the cheesecake). Haven't come up with recipes yet, but looking forward to being inventive.

I would love to see pics of the Seder!

I'll be at my parents' place for the weekend (we have theatre tickets for the new Musical version of Dirty Dancing! Amusing that it falls over Easter and Passover. ). Then it's the last week of State Testing for work next week.

LOL, I just have q pic of the giant pot of Matzo Ball Soup! Lol.

My usual. Household chores. Online studying. Workout. Hopefully a nap. An Evening of escorting people around in my car (Uber.)

Did you pre-order, Basel? We once bought a side of cow.

Yesterday we saw "Going in Style" because I love Morgan Freeman. We enjoyed it. After that we went to the Re-Store and bought some lamps and on to the Asian grocery store and then an hour bike ride.

We preordered the half beef and the next half hog, but what we picked up yesterday was already cut. When we got it home we realized that half cow needed another freezer so today were rearranging the back room for it.

Which led me to finally look at some boxes of books and dvds that dear friends gave us for the kids in the family a few months ago.

Lol, the kids aren't getting their mitts on these treasures. Most of them anyway. Don worked with me until he retired, but before that was a developmental aide at a children's home, and Mary is a retired special education teacher. They've collected some incredible things over the years and I'm over the moon with these goodies.

It's a good weekend imo. Mr. Gill is doing all the heavy lifting so he may not entirely agree.

That sounds fun! We haven't seen it yet. I spent most of my Saturday power-cleaning the house and watching the lead-up to the Kentucky Derby (and the race). Though I went garage saling in the morning and found a fabulous couch and matching chair for a great price! (We had been looking to replace the very-dead 20+ year old couch as our primary piece of furniture in the living room). Sunday we met up with friends down at the OKC Zoo while my husband helped the friend in question with planning her Laureling ceremony. He's the herald in charge for it.

Sounds like a fun weekend. On Sunday, I went with a friend to Lowes and a few other places. I bought some Rosemary plants and flowers for my flower box. My friend bought some stone fruit trees. Apricots, peaches, and avocados.

Yay! Demos are fun.

Yesterday was graduation at the high school I teach at. My niece (best friend's daughter) graduated! Then we held a party for her (for which I made vanilla bean cheesecake with strawberries, and a banana rum caramel cheesecake, at her request. (rum cooked out)). It was a nice day!

Sounds lovely! Saturday I went and saw "Something Rotten" (the Shakespeare-themed Musical  ) with my brother and sister-in-law, which was hysterical! We spent yesterday with friends and family.

Have been swamped with SCA stuff (and will be for most of the month). Taught at King's College last weekend. Going even further across kingdom this weekend for our Herald and Scribal Symposium. The following weekend I'm going all the way to Knoxville (which is about 14 hours drive) to go to Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium. For the past two weeks almost all I have done is work on two Barony-in-Fief scrolls based on the Book of Kells that I hope to have finished as the Baron and Baroness in question are hosting this weekend's event 'and' offered us crash space! So I have been drawing and painting like crazy between weekends.

Prior to that we spent our one 'free' weekend on yardwork and house projects.
