END OF DAY 1 The two lead trains were tied so Random Org made the decision. The vote had been cast. Evening settled like a shroud over the town square. The light was thin and gold, brushing the rooftops and casting long, uncertain shadows across the ground. The players stood in silence, arranged in a circle that felt more like a noose than a gathering of neighbors. At the center stood George Washington. He didn’t flinch. He didn’t argue. There was no desperation in his eyes—only clarity, and the heavy understanding of someone who had seen this coming long before the rest of them did. “I’ve always believed that leadership meant service,” he said, his voice calm, almost gentle. “Not power. Not control. But duty.” No one spoke. “I tried to keep this town from falling apart. I tried to hold the center when the edges frayed. And still—this is how you’ve chosen to repay that.” There was no malice in his tone. No resentment. Only truth, quiet and unadorned. “I don’t blame you,” he continued. “Fear is a powerful thing. It makes good people turn on each other. It makes you see enemies where there are none. And maybe, just maybe, it makes you forget who stood beside you when things were darkest.” He stepped away from the center, his boots crunching softly on the dirt. Still no one moved. “You’ve made your choice,” he said. “And I… will honor it.” His gaze swept the gathered players one last time. Not angry. Not pleading. Just steady. “I won’t be here to remind you of what we built. I won’t be part of what comes next. But I hope you remember that I never raised my voice, never raised my hand. I only raised the bar.” A pause. Then, softly—gently—he added: “It’s time to say goodbye.” And with that, he turned and walked away, his figure slowly swallowed by the twilight. Thanks for sharing the link! I never would have thought to look for a specific clip like that. And I really love that scene. I love Mat's reactions - first he kind of gasp/scoffs when he realizes Elayne really can sing, and then he's like "Wow, I can't believe she's actually singing this, but I like it!" Thom is clearly pleased she really can sing. And I like that he has a kind of beat up guitar. It goes better with his rougher nature. Side note - it will be interesting to see what they do with his character. He mentions having been in the court of Andor, so it will not be unbelievable if he shows himself to be savvy about politics among the upper classes. I love how Elayne just goes with it once she understands what the song is about. Very Elayne. I also like the pirate port of call vibe in the pub scenes. I keep remembering Pirates of the Caribbean. 😄

I have looked at everybody, yes. My read on Darthe would be null without that one town core post, and my read on seph would actually be slight town if not for the "nodding along" post. But I stand by my belief that sometimes it's just one little post slip that scum makes, especially solid scum. And both of those are solid players. For everybody else, I have them basically above the line currently. At this point, I need to see some flips and look at votes and try to evaluate from there.

@keyholder21 not gonna quote the post cause its long but re Cass Im not sitting here sayign shes Town. Im not sitting here saying shes scum. I just havent paid much attention to her. She hasnt been here, youre absolutley right in that we arnt getting normal wordy cass posts. But ive just been paying attention to other things. RE the hally D2 thing She has a tell. it doesnt always happen but when it does i know shes scum. And again hse hasnt been here. Verb now verb hasnt been here much but my null on him is because i cant read him. He tends to make very short enigmatic posts and I never know what he is. so he is null. If I see something that sets me off i vote him but if hes just kinda THERE I never know what to do with him.
