    So I joined last year, and wrote a bio, but haven't done any RPing since I haven't found enough time to dedicate myself to it. I do want to get going now though. I've just re-read most of the pinned stuff, but do admit I'm still very green in the goings-ons here at the RP Groups.

     

    So, I'd like to do my first RP with my novice character. As I understand, this would be the Meet the MoN one...?

     

    Amadine, would you be up for this sometime? (doesn't have to be immediately)

     

     

    Please tell me if I'm on the right track here... :wacko:

    I can see us making the detour if word had gotten to a Sister in the party about her, say, from the Wisdom of your village. Saying that happened, I think Jagen could or would make that trip.

     

    How about if a meeting was arranged to meet somewhere along the way, like Lugard? If word came to the Tower it could have been sent back for her to go to Lugard and wait for the Sisters who would be passing through, I think.

     

    Hullo...? Just seeing if anyone's here, but I'll post anyway.

    This is the last paragraph from my character's bio:

     

    One day Mistress Alkan took her to meet someone and Nyanna reluctantly obliged, feeling she owed at least some obedience to the woman who fed her. The woman turned out to be an Aes Sedai, and confirmed that Nyanna had the spark inborn. Not that she had much choice, Nyanna refused at first, but the next morning she found herself on a horse riding to the White Tower with the Aes Sedai and her Warder.

     

    "took her to meet someone" when I was writing it first, I was thinking of Mistress Alkan introducing her to an Aes Sedai in the common room of the Inn, however they could have gone to Lugard too?

     

    I rather like to option of Mistress Alkan being an eyes-and-ears, rather than the Wisdom contacting an Aes Sedai, since she doesn't know where Nyanna is. What do you think? :) :happy:

    In the last few days I watched: Prince of Persia (awesome), The Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy ( :laugh:!), How To Train Your Dragon (also :laugh:!). Now I'm gonna go to VideoEzy and grab loads of movies for a movie marathon tonight!!!!!!

    Oooh too bad I didn't get here first, my hard-handed Red Sitter would simply have LOVED to teach a new girl a little bit of good, old fashioned disipline... oh well, I'm sure there will be time for that later *grins*

     

    *peeps in and spots Jagen* Hi! If you wanna discipline someone, you're welcome to try your hand on Nyanna. She's quite a temperamental, stubborn one as well.

    Yesss....that's a great idea, seeing as they couldn't find Nyanna, the wisdom of Dell's Bridge (Mistress Berran) could have contacted an Aes Sedai. Now the cook (Mistress Alkan) could have told someone (i.e. an eyes-and-ears in the village about the strange girl) and it could be curiosity for an Aes Sedai if she was passing through?

    Sweet!!! Nyanna is in a village in upper Ghealdan, maybe a few miles out from the foot of the Mountains Of Mist. Just right for a detour ;D

    I know I haven’t done any RP yet as I got my bio approved only about a week ago, but I can’t start just now because I have school end of year exams in the next 2 weeks. Gulp. So please excuse me for that time, ‘cause I have to spend the last few days until the exams doing as much revision as I can. So, LoA please for the next 2 1/2 weeks. Sorry.

    I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this in, but -

    I started a new topic in the Showcase in the Artist's Crafter's and Writer's Guild. On my first post I attached a picture. When I tried to attach another one in the next post, a message came up saying (I quote):

     

    Error This file was too big to upload

    Used 484.9K of your 500K global upload quota (Max. single file size: 15.1K)

     

    So does this mean I only have so many kb to attach!!!??? Or...?
