Welcome to Battleship: Forum Edition! Two teams—Red Team and Blue Team—will compete to find and sink hidden ships on the enemy's grid. How to Play: Join a Team Choose Red Team or Blue Team by replying with: "I join Red Team!" "I join Blue Team!" Gameplay Red Team attacks the Blue Grid (trying to find ships hidden on blue). Blue Team attacks the Red Grid (trying to find ships hidden on red). To fire a shot, post a guess in this format: BLUE TEAM ATTACKS RED B7 RED TEAM ATTACKS BLUE E9 Hit or Miss! I'll update the grid after each guess. If you hit a ship, I'll mark it in red. If you miss, I'll mark it in white. If you sink an entire ship, I'll let you know! Winning the Game The first team to sink all enemy ships wins! Reply below to choose your team Once we have a few players we can start guessing! Each team will take it in turns to guess. Any player on the team can make the guess.

I'm starting to wonder if some people even read the set up in the OP Here's Ithi's TLDR guide to this game's set up 3 x Mafia Goons 1 x Town Replaceable Watcher 1 x Town 1x Vig 6 x Town Vanilla ... may be randomly be chosen to become the Watcher if the current Watcher dies.

That was a disappointment. No QTs at all now. Which means you can't share the Mafia Chat, even if they give consent. There must be a similar thing somewhere that's not too difficult to use But I'm too lazy to find whatever it is.

Oh yeah they are all archived for your reading pleasure. There's still the handy list of all the games in the Arena but not everyone can see that. It was in lockdown until Sinister opened it up, when we were trying to find the Roller code

Hi Clov, I just heard back from the player and they've decided to stay in the game now. I really appreciate you offering though. That was very kind. The last game in the welcome back series will have sign ups when this current game is near it's end and your welcome to come and play 🙂

We are quite fortunate to live relatively close to a city. The new models are quite clever that the paint doesn't seem to easily bleed into the wrong areas.

My boy tried the spray primer, but he held the can too close to one and it slightly melted the details. So now he uses slightly watered down base paint in fine layers. He actually uses black for the base cos then the shadows are kind of built in.

if you want to try again, you can go into the shops and they sit down with you and show you the paint techniques. They will even give you a free model and let you use their paints, the first time. And you can keep going back fir extra lessons and skills, like adding transfers and stuff.

It's these little battle dude models. My son is super careful so he paints the Space Marines. I'm a lesser mortal so do the Tyrannids cos they are more organic and forgiving. He doesn't play the game. He just loves painting the models. There's a table set up for it in my living room full of paint and brushes and wet palettes etc

Oh I'm taking my youngest to Warhammer tomorrow. He has Ultra Marines. I get to paint the Tyrannids

I only leave it open for posting so people can wind down and relax after the Lynch. Also for the lols If you ll can't manage to keep it fun and light and general I'll have to change to no Night posting, which would be super boring.

Night is not a time for arguments. Save that for Day. funtimes and light posting otherwise the people who decide to take the Night off will find it hard to catch up.

Emergency Meeting The cafeteria was silent. The votes were in. Blue stood in the center, their visor unreadable as the others stared them down. Lime crossed their arms. “We all saw it. Blue was acting weird near Electrical.” Orange nodded. “They stood over a body in Admin. No report.” Pink hesitated. “They… they went into MedBay, but never came out.” Red slammed the table. “It’s obvious. Blue, you’re done.” White didn’t hesitate. The button was pressed. The airlock doors slid open with a hiss, red warning lights flashing. Blue stepped forward without a word. No protest. No defense. Just a slow, resigned step onto the platform. A whoosh of decompression. Blue tumbled into the void, their figure shrinking into the darkness of space. The remaining crewmates watched, waiting… Then, the screen flickered. “Blue was not the Impostor.” Silence. A creeping sense of dread filled the room. Lime took a step back. “Uh… guys?” Then—the lights cut out. A low, distorted laugh crackled over comms. They had not found an Impostor. Cass has been Lynched. She was Blue - Town Replaceable Watcher It is now Night 1. You can post if you want to to but keep it light and fun. If you don't want to post, enjoy your weekend.
