You can never go wrong with Princess Bride quotes but the "Well met" is a Tolkien thing, Silmarillion particularly. Oh, I was just reminded this isn't really a chatting thread. There are more appropriate threads. Maybe in the warder boards if you have access. The ajah boards also have chatty threads. I hang out with the blues quite a bit. There are also specific TV and book discussion forums on the main board. I have been putting some opinions out there. But I am excited for the new season.

Well met @Donchadh! I have been away for many years so unfortunately I may not be much use for how things are now. When I was new the biggest thing was just to participate in threads and events and stuffs and have fun. I hope for your sake it is that way still. To be honest I was more an Asha'man than anything else before. I hope that doesn't bring the Reds down on me.

Couladin as a Forsaken actually pulling the strings instead of being a puppet would be an interesting twist. It would also help cut out the whole battle of Caihrien(sp?). I want to see the columns and the Finn. Also can't wait to see the batle of the Two Rivers.

Verin was extremely committed to her effort of infiltrating and uncovering the BA. We never learn all she did to maintain her cover with the shadow, but I imagine she did some terrible things to avoid discovery.

Hi. I'm an old member thatchecked back in because I wanted to talk about the show (and the books, lol). About the battle, my take is that the 4 black sisters that joined in had discussions of what to do if Liandrin was outted. They being BA had used the power as a weapon previously so we're more proficient in doing so than the average brown, grey, white, yellow, or even blue(the reds who would also be skilled were excluded). So it was really 4 against 5 or 6( not sure if Alanna is a sitter) with a bunch of "civilians " around. It was also quite a shock to find out that 4 sitters were black. On Verin, I think she knew that Naomi was black. I imagine she was charged with getting her into the depository. She definitely was ready for the attack and blocked most of it. I don't see any problems with cognitive dissonance regarding her actions as it is clear that not all dark friends are following the same sets of orders. She is sufficiently shady in her actions and words to be effective in maintaining her cover.

This is sad. The BT was at one point one of if not the busiest forum on the entire site. I guess it is kinda just like the books
