Shad and Dice have more suspicion and feel less firm town than Zander and to some extent Cass have so far. Also getting rid of a town Cass at this point would hinder a town Zander because I think Zander trusts her now. To your first point, I'm biased but as town I'd rather lose Cairos who's not playing to me who is playing (albeit not super intelligently at times) if we both are town. The fact that Cairos flip would not help us if they were town is testament to the fact that he hasn't done enough to have meaningful interactions with other players that we can learn anything from. I also have said that D1 Lynch is largely guesswork so as I said when Zander's posting was all over the place (which actually has drastically improved, thanks Zander, makes playing altogether much easier), getting rid of someone obstructive to town, irrespective of alignment, is still a good outcome for D1 Lynch

Humour me, what's town's plan for D2 after I flip town and mafia kill Zander or Cass?

I know I literally shot myself in the foot but letting people like Cairos (I think at this point the quietest player here) just slip through because they were busy and can only be bothered to post at the one person who voted them is at least giving me a message. Next game just post less, explain why you're busy due to your important and empathic job, and just keep a low profile and don't engage with anything. That's what I try to do as scum but if I played mafia again then at least Day 1 ill do the same 🤷 there's no repercussions anyways. This was much easier to do too in games with 20+ people.

Ah experienced player shouldn't even be annoyed when someone votes them, especially for something like inactivity/not contributing to the game that they can change. They then magically found time to post several times, none particularly helpful to the game besides RTE bad.

Agree with this and in some ways feel at fault because I entertained/continued the meta conversation so it let him continue to post about mafia without posting about this game particularly. Too much nostalgia/talking about mafia for mafia's sake without anything substantive about the current game, especially for such an experienced player who says his own meta is based on evidence etc

I trust Lenlo because I like the way he plays and his rationale. Verbal is in one of my scum trios and I previously said of those three he was the one I felt scummiest about. I won't change my vote yet but as town I fully intend to try to save myself at deadline and vote someone who, unlike myself, I do not know is town

Like what is this blindspot from everyone? Yea they have a really busy job. But then they have come back and posted several times and as dice suggested nothing rings particularly town to me. If anything, really poor responses from someone who's played mafia before and apparently is town. Not to mention he was wolf last game apparently. I'm not the most empathic person in the world but when did we start giving quiet players a pass because life is busy? If you want to D1 pass them because you like them so be it but they aren't playing the game

Listen. I get it in so far as I can. I really do. But can you post about something relating to the game? Vote Cairos You're either scum or not helping town anyways. And at this point it would be better to know so we can just move on because you aren't doing anything to help anyone, at least certainly not town.

At the time it felt you were doing a lot of catching up and not much else. Your posting has gotten much better since and you were my "if you had to pick a 7th person to suspect, who would it be?"

Also yes naming almost half the players in the game certainly should have one wolf in there 😂 I would say just try to appear genuine and ask good questions and describe how your reads change when they do. Actually you used go be able to do that on DM but appears you can't anymore. I don't completely disagree with you but did reveal when people were taking the piss with way too few posts by say Day 6

I guess to me as apparently an old school player you're coming across very innocent and like unintending to offend, with a focus on achieving reciprocal clearance of being deemed to be town and considering some else town. Basically a bit of trying too hard to be everyone's friend and make yourself look innocent and very light on reads and sharing your own insights. All marred by this being your second game so a lot can easily get chalked up to that, for better or worse

Really well put. It's just the second style seems like it has nothing to do with the game at hand and everything to do with personal friendships and relationships and potentially based on meta from other games, the last one being what I would consider the only relevant thing (and doesn't need the friendship to work)

Besides point 1 which admittedly I'm doing a poor job of myself, not sure how this relates. Number 2 at this point of the game is mostly guesswork unless you're scum and then can confidently say who's town

Could be scum but too early to say. Tbh I feel pretty good about the 3 being among the 6. But if you want me to pick another, then Shad. Doing a lot of posting without offering a lot of their own info about their views and reads. *I realise nor actually DM or even Mafia noobs in some cases but it's the name I'm going with. Also using they/their because can't remember everyone's sex and actually thought heavy was female when they joked about being a simple gal earlier 😂
