When you accept that Zander is going to be loud and boisterous as either alignment, you have to look past it and check out his reasons. It makes sense that Zander would be sketched out by Lenlo bringing up the Dice lynch joke as a set-up (I haven't fully let go of that one either). It makes sense that Zander would then see quite a few people accusing him for things they ought to know he'd say as either alignment and, finding it irrational, assume there's an agenda in the mix. Town Zander makes sense, maybe not always in the words he's shouting but in the paths that get him there. If he's a wolf here he was heavily sussed for the wrong reasons and did a tremendous job, to his overall detriment, of replicating his town behavior in response to them. Nothing's ever locked in but I think he's very likely a villager.

I feel like you're really cherry picking here? Beyond that I don't think your quip really holds up to the experiences we've all had playing with very stubborn villagers before, it doesn't make much sense to me if I put it back in context? Zander had a pretty clear reason for suspecting Lenlo. Villagers are willing to work with bad reads, it sounds nice but like, the villager has to think the bad read is coming from a villager first. If Zander thinks Lenlo is a wolf then... why wouldn't he say he doesn't believe him?

I've now read through page 20 and would like to welcome Zander to the town core. Unless he's exactly bussing Lenlo, which would be really funny because I went on for a while earlier about how he's unlikely to be a wolf with Lenlo.

If I remember correctly, he was openly self-conscious that he was overreacting when he made the statement. Don't you think a wolf would, upon having the thought that it might look bad, be more likely to not say it in the first place? We can't ISO and I'm not digging back, but as I recall he dropped a contingency take along the lines of someone else might be a little wolfy for the way they treated you. A wolf calling a villager wolfy for pushing a wolf is the least common possibility in these situations, especially early in a game. Hence I don't think you're both wolves.

Personally I thought Verbal was guilty of reaching a bit while acting like he wasn't, but it didn't bother me enough to call out until you asked, just tucked it away in my brain folds to be inevitably forgotten until post-game, when I say I had you all along while doing nothing about it, as the story always goes.
