My headcanon for Cadsuane has been and always will be Kathy Bates. Honestly, Kathy Bates would be an amazing choice! She’s got that perfect blend of nurturing warmth and intimidating strength that Cadsuane needs. I even advocated for her on X way back in the day before Rafe started his conversations with Shohreh Aghdashloo and everyone assumed she'd land the role of Cadsuane. Now that we know Ms. Aghdashloo is playing Elaida, there is still hope (slim, obviously, with Ms. Bates' other project), but hope nonetheless! 😁
