Cauthon girls healing Alanna so easily was my only complaint in this episode. I give it a pass though, since our heroes always managed to create needed weaves pretty much every single time even if they had no training or never made them before. The show does need to stop giving our heroes mortal wounds in every episode and heal them immediately. It's getting a bit tiring. I almost wish Rand had done the marionette thingy with the girl's corpse. What we got was plenty enough. Well done.

Remember S2E5? Rand and Moiraine came up with a plan that Rand pretends to love Lanfear so they can get information and she won't kill them.

Any examples? I know there are changes, but I bet they have purpose behind them and are not just thrown in just because.

I did a quick check and apparently covid restrictions hit after E4 was filmed. I'm not sure if CGI suffered for that episode also.

And this is why the "just do the books" is such a pointless argument. It's just not possible within time and budget.

In short

This episode was very very good. The glass columns were executed near perfectly. I wanted to see more of the Bore and Breaking but I'm sure that will happen later in this season or in future seasons.

Gaebril's subtle use of compulsion was very good

One criticism I have if I wanted to make any, is how Maksim and Ihvon failed to kill Liandrin. They could have chopped her head off immediately instead of stabbing. I know she "can't" die yet so it's not a big deal though. The episode was very good overall.

Rafe has said very early on that they were (paraphrasing) "interested in exploring polyamory instead of polygamy". There's been plenty of time to gird our loins.

Sorry, I meant that it's fine for me that Elayne and Avi also love each other and not just Rand and Min will likely be in love with just Rand.

So that Rand doesn't have a harem. Makes full sense.

The aiel spears look a bit "fake" to my eyes. Hopefully they look better in motion.

Possible casting for Child Byar

If the shots are from around the same area, I think Rhuidean is on the left side of Shot 1. I think shot 1 is located downhill from Shot 2. I could be way off though because the hill looks pretty steep and shot 1 is on even ground. Maybe shot 1 is just some way to either side where it's more even. I think there are some mountains on the left side of shot 1. Lots of dunes on the rest of it.

Both shots have mountains in the background, spears on the ground and sun shining from the same direction.

The S3 teaser/trailer has over 5 million views already. S2 trailer has only 4,4 million views after over a year. Has the marketing improved that much?
