  1. Do you mean new elements as I thought we were voting to go get a new spell?
  2. Family
  3. Sheeping is absolutely not required. Indeed for Zander to understand the game we probably need to get a counter train going.
  4. HeavyHalfMoonBlade replied to Alliiara's post in a topic in Introduce Yourself
Welcome back to Dragonmount, Alliiara :) Look forward to seeing you about on your WoT journey, hope you enjoy it as much as we all did 🙂
  5. Also need to keep an eye on our EP, another incident and we'll be dangerously low.
  6. I vote inspect then speak to the Guardian if we can.
  7. I know amusing we looked for a fight and ended up with new friends. This is such a wholesome adventure. Edit. Wait I'm like a page behind. Er, prepare seems like a good idea.
  8. Lootsies. Or should we rest to gain back the EP? But I vote for shiny stuff. Though it is lucky we didn't choose fire element this time as what would we do with all this water magic stuff otherwise? Obviously an inspired choice of water.
  9. Let's try and befriend them. Maybe they know where the water nymphs live. Or loot.
  10. But I get a "go sports team" when I make one small mention of real sport. S'no fair. Smh.
  11. I'll go for defence first off, just incase not keeping them at distance would be a terrible error. But depleting our magic before we need healing might also be an error. I'm so good at making errors, this really is my territory.
  12. Or defend and see what they are capable of without the embarrassing failure of aforementioned small knife?
  13. We don't know much about them. But healing as a first attempt is maybe a bit defensive? Perhaps we should stab them, and then heal when we get totally mauled and our small knife proves completely ineffective.
  14. Lol, Vincent does that and crawls about on his stomach as well. But he is pretty good about it normally. Though he did last get really stuck into trying to clean it with his tongue. Also he freaked once and started back flipping and full on mad struggling to get out and it stayed put so I know if he does jump off the balcony he'll be fine.
  15. Yeah, perhaps I should have said titmice, but I have a family of Great Tits nesting on my balcony so will be interesting to see if Vincent puts them off. Or kills himself hurling himself off the third floor trying to get them. He isn't the sharpest tool in the toolbox. Which is why he has to be in his harnass, which he accepts pretty well for a cat, in all honesty.
  16. Army sizes easily start getting silly when people get enthusiastic, but that said such issues as the Ghealdenin Royal Army numbering about five was an issue. And it has been a consistent issue, even Whitecloak Legions appear to be no more than a handful, just some (er, many) CGI, poorly focused tents or whatever would go a long way to show a little bit of scale. In a setting like the Westlands, a hundred armed and trained men is a force to reckoned with, say turning up at Baerlon or something. But the show has consistently struggled to even reach that kind of number when it comes to troops. Which is a bit disappointing in terms of "epic" of the story.
  17. Which is obviously what I meant, the heart of sexy... I mean, noble and courageous water beings that will be in awe of our mastery of water magic. We can't just sit here and self buff all game. We need to find a partner... Why did the bit that was meant to non-smutty sound worse than the innuendo-laden part? I need more practice at this speaking in mixed company business.
  18. We're getting the start of summer here. Those days when don't trust it so wear your winter coat and end up sweating about 75% of your body weight into your clothes. And then smell awesome for the rest of the day. At least I can sit on my balcony. Stick Vincent in his harnass and let him make threatening noises at the birdies. Tried to explain the tits live there and are part of the family but the murderous ginger fleabag is having none of it.
  19. Relics schmelics. I reckon the source of the river sounds like a great place to meet a water nymph. I think we need to get our game on and go meet some sexy water boys/girls. Or am I in the wrong role play for that kind of thing?
  20. Vast exaggeration. I'm only here as a representative of the Blowing-things-up-when-it-really-isn't-advisable Party. We've had complaints of things not blowing up inappropriately so we felt had to start an official investigation into this lack. Sworn statements may need to be collected at a later date to document this disturbing swath of non-violence. I vote we test this baby out.
  21. We are, by and large, a nice bunch of people. And of course we take spoilers seriously, we love books and storytelling 😄 No one likes spoilers. Well, my Gran did. She liked whodunnits but liked them to have a good ending, so she would read the last chapter first to see if she approved. Thankfully she would have totally forgotten the ending by the time she got to the end of the book but at least she knew she would enjoy it. I aspire to have that level of practicality one day.
  22. Welcome, Alyssa 🙂 Always fun to meet someone new on Dragonmount. Existing book discussions will be full of spoilers, but if you start your own threads with any issues, questions or just sharing your experience (everyone here will be so jelly that you are to experience it, we all wish we could again) I'm sure everyone will be super careful not to spoil anything for you.
  23. Wasn't me, so I suppose it must have Gud or RTE would have said something. I would have thought at least.
  24. True, you were there. I was fairly sure Cairos was too, but I was more sure about RTE, and eliminating Cairos first would only have put off the choice between RTE/Turin. Certainly in hindsight, Cairos being willing to eliminate RTE was a red flag, but still not as much of a red flag for me as RTE's behaviour. But undeniably I got it wrong.
  25. Cairos's birthday and unfortunate hospitalizaron made things awkward, and one wolf being so helpful when if we were right we were about to close in on them felt wrong. Something to keep in mind. But it would be difficult to change your read of the whole game at the last second. I don't think the issue was that the mafia weren't suspicious, I think there were enough clues there.
