Rebecca turned towards the door, but found herself slightly surprised at the appearance of not one of the other students, but a teacher by the look of him. She hadn't seen him around the Fortress, and judging by his annoyed manner he wasn't one she would expect to be a Dreadlord. A Darkfriend then, a high ranking one like Rendra to teach future Dreadlords. Even as she drew her twin daggers out of the concealed sheaths inside her coat, she was filing this particular bit of information away for later usage.
If whomever was in charge of this place had indeed ordered several teachers in stead of one to be guiding this class, then now would be the time to show potential, and through their reports to their superiors, more focus could be put on weapons training. As she stood there, her mind was scheming on the best way to manipulate the both of them into doing what she wanted them to. Came with being Cairhienin, she guessed.

The Aes Sedai licked his lips, though from the way he was looking it was more a habit than anything as he thought about the best way to handle this. He'd need to get a message to his Ajah, of course, if he were to gather support. Already starting to choose what he would be going to say, he started pacing up and down in the small tent. One thing he knew for a fact was that they would most definitely be interested, based on no less than three important points. After half an hour of pacing, mumbling to himself in thought, taking notes and more pacing, he turned back to Jon and Scylla.
"Right. I'm going to have to ask you to stay out of this tent. I'm about to gather the people i need for a Circle, and unfortunately this weave can be very dangerous to those standing too close when it appears."
The air itself seemed to get sliced in two, and from within the hole Scylla looked straight into a room in a large building. It looked so real that it was alost as if she could step through it and reach the other end. It was her turn to yelp in surprise however as the Aes Sedai did exactly that, and the portal snapped shut behind him again. Looking at Jon, Scylla gave him a somewhat nervous smile as she squeezed his hand, getting up as she wanted to leave the tent like she was told. She wasn't exactly looking forward to being sliced in two, anyway.
-----
A few hours later, mostly filled with talking to people, cuddling and the odd game of Stones, the Aes Sedai stepped outside of the tent again, motioning for the two of them to follow. As they got in the tent, they'd see the portal hovering in midair again in roughly the same place it had been when he had left. Tilting his head, the Aes Sedai looked at Scylla's wings before closing his eyes and touching his belt buckle, making the portal double in size. After they had walked through, it snapped shut behind them again, only now they were all standing in the building she had seen earlier.
- "Umm... Where are we now, anyway?"
Scylla was looing around, taking a few steps towards the window to asee if she could recognise the city before the Aes Sedai grabbed her arm.
"No offense, but you might not want to do that."
It was then that Scylla remembered her form. She had gotten used to how she looked, and the Wolfkin in the camp had all accepted her as well, but in her wonder about the portal she had forgotten that they were now in another place entirely. The Aes Sedai motioned for them to follow, and they followed steps leading down into the basement, where thirteen female Aes Sedai were waiting. There was a slight murmur as Scylla entered the room, after which one of them nodded at the man as if to give him permission to speak.
"These are all experienced Aes Sedai. Whether it is for finding the cure for being turned into Shadowspawn, the pursuit of knowledge or other reasons, they have all agreed to help. However, please keep in mind that this is the first time we have done anything even remotely similar to this. We cannot guarantee it will be painless."
He winced visibly at the last admission. As a healer, he disliked seeing people in pain, which was perhaps the reason he would not be present during the examination. As he patted Jon on the shoulder to follow him into the next room, one of the female Aes Sedai started telling Scylla what to do.
"All right, strip down and lie down on the table here. I will make you fall asleep, after which we shall begin."
Scylla's face turned red as she started to blush, and from the way she was trying very hard not to look at Jon as she fidgeted with her buttons it was clear that she didn't really know what to think about having Jon by her side. Part of her wanted to -- Light, part of her wanted to a little too badly! -- but then again, he was a guy after all...
Scylla
Not sure what to think about this...
-
Scylla used the time that she was alone wisely, and was steeling herself for what she believed was going to happen. Jon would return with an Aes Sedai, she was sure of it, and after she got her emotions back down to a somewhat controllable level she started bringing up everything she knew about them, every scrap she had heard about them that she considered even partially true. When a soldier from camp stood at the entrance of the tentflap to let her know the Aes Sedai should be there soon, she nodded, and pulled the blanket over her form again, pressing her wings as close to her as she could to at least give the lump a humanlike form. She heard voices getting louder as Jon returned, and could almost feel adrenaline build up. It would be now or never...
- "Jon? I'd hate to ask you this, but could you please wait outside?"
First and foremost on her mind was the thought, the very present chance of her getting hurt as a reaction to te channeler seeing her new form. And the thing she feared most was not her safety, but Jons at seeing her get hurt. To watch him get hurt would cut her deeper than anything the Aes Sedai could possibly have done to her, moreso when knowing it was because of her...
"Good evening, miss. Your friend mentioned a condition you suffered, may i take a look?"
- "One minute, Aes Sedai. Before we start, may i have your word that you will not harm me?"
The Aes Sedai was silent for a few seconds, and from what she could see peeking through a small hole in the sheets he looked almost surprised at the question. Shrugging, he continued.
"Very well, you have my word. Though any fighting for the Light in this accursed War have nothing to fear from me, i assure you."
Scylla could feel the warmth of his smile, and took a deep breath. Aes Sedai could not lie, it was said, nor break their word, and though they had only been rumors it was all she had to go by. Slowly, so as not to startle the man, she got up from the bedroll, spreading her wings before folding them up in a more natural position. The man's reaction was somewhat like she expected it to be. He released a shout, and she was almost certain he was holding the Power after tipping his chair over, but he seemed to remember his oath and did not attack. Seeing the sheer disbelief on his face, she started telling him what had happened. All of it.
...
"We had heard rumors, but... Never could we have suspected Aginor to do this..."
The Aes Sedai, still somewhat disturbed by what he had heard, carefully approached Scylla, placing her hand on his shoulder. He had had experience as a healer, she guessed, as he told her in a calm voice everything that he would be doing to her. A shiver ran down her spine as he Delved her, checking for clues as to what had happened to her. After a few minutes, he would turn to Jon as well to give them the reports of what he had found.
"I can sense... something inside of her holding back my weaves, though i can't put my finger on what it is. Chuain Sed-- Aginor is by far stronger in the Power than i will ever be, and i fear that for even as much as a full examination i will be needing a Circle. As far as a cure goes, i can give no guarantees, but i can inform my Brothers and Sisters of her condition and allow her to be snuck in without being seen."
Scylla looked at Jon, a glimmer of hope in her eyes. Sure, the Aes Sedai hadn't managed to cure her yet, but he had found something! If those effects could be countered, then she could become human again! Reaching out to grab Jons hands, she waited on him to give the final say. As much as she regretted saying it, she had very little experience dealing with Aes Sedai, and hoped Jon had a better indication of the risks that were involved than she had.

Not really sure

Irian sighed deeply, scratching the back of his head as he looked at the White Tower itself. Aeryn was in there somewhere... He just hoped she'd be able to keep her temper in check without him to keep her under control. Well... Not really under control in that sense of the word, more like 'step in before things spiral out of control'. Either way, she'd have to sooner or later, and if he lost the edge he had with her currently, something told him he'd be needing that weapon skill.
Oh well, there was always the library though. He liked to read, and maybe he would be able to see her there and talk about how things were working out for her. Or even find out if the Tower was still in one piece.
- "Hmm... Not really, unless you'd count pointing me to my room and first class. Which i suppose you were about to do anyway, might i add?"
He grinned again, his worries already fading on the background. Things never really bothered him for long, he hardly ever stayed angry past turning around and this would be no different. In the countless years that the Tower had stood there, he supposed it'd be able to survive Aeryn as well...

Scylla did not want to let go, but as Jon pulled free she let him, simply watching as he sat on a chair close to where the two of them had hugged each other. Even though tears still fell from her face, she was no longer actually crying, and it seemed that together, they had pulled each other through the worst of it. She saw the lines of thought on his face, her own mind trying to figure out what he was thinking until he looked her in her eyes and the butterflies seemed to carry away her thoughts.
"I will fix this, I will find a way to cure you..."
She saw the determination in his eyes, but knew enough about people to be able to guess why it had taken him so long to come to that conclusion. Though her form was far from human, she still had the mind of a Gleewoman. No amount of the Power would have been able to change that. She got up -- slowly, as her knees were still a bit shaky -- and walked over to Jon, placing her hand on his cheek as she smiled at him. She knew what would need to be done. She just needed to make sure Jon would as well.
- "My love, one of the rules my father lived by was that you should never be afraid of doing what you felt you should, deep inside your soul. If you didn't, you wouldn't truly be alive in the first place."
She bent her knees again, placing her arms around his neck like she had when she kissed him earlier, though now she simply kept looking into his eyes. Though it was clear that her eyes still stung with tears, the look she was giving him was trying very hard to be inspiring, to give Jon confidence for what she knew had to be done.
- "I was changed with the Power, and only the Power would possibly be able to change me back. The only other possible outcome would be one of us accidentally ...killing the other, and i don't think either of us could live with that. I am afraid of dying, my heart, but i beg of you, don't hold back for my sake. Do what needs to be done, and know that i will never blame you for it."
She leaned over as if she wanted to kiss him, but instead pressed her forehead against his. Taking a deep breath, she let go of him again and walked inside the tent. As much as she wanted to remain by his side, the urge to hold him, to kiss him was simply too great, and the knowledge that he would face a fate worse than death if she gave in to that urge was a thought she found impossible to bear. Once inside, she managed to crawl to the bedroll, pulling the blanket over her and willing her mouth shut to keep Jon from hearing her cry again. Her shoulders shook with the effort, but she managed. For Jon, she managed.

So close... yet so far away

Jerinia nodded, giving her horse a slight nudge in the sides to have it ride up next to Loraine. She was feeling a bit nervous, as despite Shadowspawn being just a part of her daily life during her childhood, this would be the first time she'd actually end up fighting one. Memories of her father started drifting up, of the stories he told about his campaigns. Did he pass this way as well? Did he encounter Trollocs? No, stay focused!. Hoping Loraine's presence would help in keeping herself focused, she guided her horse closer to the older Aes Sedai. Though she wanted to show what she had learned, to fight Shadowspawn now that she had the chance to, she didn't try to reach for saidar. She doubted they would appreciate her setting half the forest on fire...

Melenis gave a few additional commands to the scouting parties. After the horns ahad started to echo through the woods, she had ordered them to scout in a triangular pattern as opposed to a circular one. Ahead of them, the scouted area would be wide, while behind them there'd only be the 'tip' of the triangle, it's purpose being to detect enemies in direct pursuit. The rotation time increased as well, if one scout would be late or -- Light help it -- missing it would give her more time to react accordingly. She was on edge about all of this already, and perhaps the only thing keeping her from riding off in a scouting party herself was Kynwric's order to reinforce the group that ended up needing it the most.

((Just wanted to add that you can still post in class 2 through 4 since you haven't done that yet. Just assume Jerinia repeats her lesson for you and do the assignment and it should all work out fine.
Also, Class 3 and 4 are still ongoing for a while since i'm on a two week LOA soon, so feel free to jump in there whenever you wish ^^))

As Jon explained to her what was wrong, Scylla didn't know whether to laugh or cry at what she believed to be a bad joke. She tried to speak up a couple of times, but the words stuck in her throat as she shook her head and tried to find a logical explanation for this. But there was a memory of her escape clearly imprinted on her mind, of the lone guard she had kissed that had fallen to the ground afterwards. She looked at her hands, had she really killed a man? Had she... really almost killed Jon just now?
Time seemed to speed up to its normal pace again, and she noticed Jon hugging her. Hugging her! Despite the fact that she almost tore his undying soul from his body... The man really didn't have a... have a single bad...
- "Where were you... when i was still human..."
She was then swept away by a flood of tears that could not be stopped had she even had the mental strength left to try. Lowering her head on Jon's shoulder, she just sat there, returning his hug with all she had as she cried on his shoulder. Here she was, so close to everything she wanted. So close to the person her heart ached for despite only having met him today. So close... yet she would end up worse than killing him if she as much as kissed him. And she wanted to. She wanted to so badly she could barely think of anything else with him holding her so close.
- "It's not fair... I love you... It's not fair..."
In between sobs, Jon would be able to pick up a few words, as close to Scylla as he was sitting. She felt as if she couldn't live without him, but if she wanted him to live she couldn't ever see him again. The thought was maddening in itself, and every time she tried to release Jon from her embrace she ended up hugging him tighter, fearing that if she let him go now it would be for forever.
Scylla
What was that about duty again...?
-
Scylla simply listened to Jon as he told her about the Wolfkin, keeping her eyes fixed on Spring. At first, she was afraid, but the look in her eyes changed to surprise, and then curiousity. The wolf's eyes did remind her of Jon's, now that she thought about it. As a gleewoman, she had heard stories describing the ability these people had, but part of her couldn't help but wonder what would have happened had she still been human. Would she have walked away? Turned this into a story to make her some coin at an Inn?
She looked at Jon again, her hands still on his shoulders. She felt... warm for some reason, and her arms weren't listening when she tried to let go. And then it hit her. She didn't want to let go. Looking like this, she had no place to turn to, nowhere she could go that would give her the comfort and feeling of security that this small band of... Wolfkin, had made her feel. Regardless of all that she had been, this was where she belonged now. A thought tickled in the back of her mind as she asked herself if he would be able to hear her heart beat. Without thinking, her arms slid further around Jon. Without thinking, she found herself leaning closer to his face, softly kissing him in the temple while hugging him.
-----
To Jon however, things would be a little different than he might expect. During the kiss, he would feel his strength slip away, as if the kiss itself was sucking the stamina out of his body. Though it had been short, he would find himself blacking out for a second, only to get his bearings again in Scylla's arms. From the look in her eyes, she was either the world's greatest actress or she really didn't have a clue what had just happened from his point of view.
-----
Scylla looked down at Jon, a caring smile on her face as she held his head on her knees. Her face did little to hide the emotions that seemed to flow out of her as she played with a lock of his hair.
- "Heh... Looks like you're the one that pushed himself too far this time. Want some help getting to your tent?"
She added the last part playfully, repeating what he had told her right after their landing. Regardless of how she felt about the tables being turned now, the look on her face shifted back to concern as she noticed Jon was a little too out of breath to her liking. Sure, he could have been tired after the battle, but the gap between now and when he had been talking to her only half a minute ago was a bit too wide for her liking.
- "Jon? Are you okay? Want me to call the medic again? If there's anything wrong..."
Scylla
Worried, yet clueless
-
After Jon asked her if there had been enemies here, Scylla looked around at the people around her before giving herself a mental slap for being silly. These were all people under Jon's command, so they wouldn't be enemies, no. She looked a bit surprised at the thought though, given that they had had weapons trained at her only a few hours earlier, but there it was. She turned back to Jon with a genuine smile on her face.
- "No, no enemies here. Don't worry too much about Aginor though, he'll get his due one day."
The simple fact was that Aginor was one of the strongest known Aes Sedai, and Jon's troops counted not a single channeler amongst them. All things considered, it had been nothing short of a miracle that so many had managed to return safely, though it seemed most of them were injured in some way. The dogs too, must have fought hard, the poor things.
She blinked as she took a closer look, with the fever gone she could notice more details now, and she at least had the time to pay more attention to detail. Those weren't dogs... they were wolves! Why were there wolves in camp? Giving a panicked eep, she tried to hide behind Jon, peeking at Spring from behind the man's back.
- "Umm... Jon? Why are there wolves in camp?"
They had been there before, come to think of it. She vaguely recalled spotting a few wolves back when she first landed in camp, but her attention had been focused on the crossbows and assorted weaponry pointed in her direction at the time. But as much as she racked her mind she couldn't for the life of her understand why very undomesticated looking wolves were teaming up with humans. Sure, they were fighting the Shadow, but that didn't mean she should expect a rabbit to pop up and bite a Trolloc in the ankle or something... right?

Mara nodded as Jagaea brought up silks and jewels. Good, having what she would be looking for would get her a better price on her goods than trying to peddle them to a merchant who'd be saving his money for something else. Still, she suspected the woman, like most merchants, would prefer to see what she was buying before actually forking over the money for it.
"May i suggest we continue these negotiations in a more private location?"
It was the first time Timeon, the older man sitting next to Mara, had spoken up. Using the distraction, Mara glanced at Jagaea's clothing almost unnoticeably brief, trying to estimate how much coin she was carrying, and judging by the way her gown clung slightly a bulging purse would have stood out, especially in this area. Yet, the goods she had asked for were generally expensive... A room somewhere then, where she would have stashed the money she wanted to buy her goods with. Not a problem, she needed time to gather samples of silk and jewelery anyway.
- "You would happen to have such a place in mind?"
Mara
You didn't really think you could show gold in this place, did you? ;)

Scylla took a deep breath before cracking an eye open. For a second, she woke up expecting to see the inside of an Inn, but the sight of a tent tickled a memory in the back of her head. She moved, and grimaced as the blanket was pulled away by one of her wi-- Oh, right... Wasn't a dream.
Slowly, she got up, rearranging her clothing from having slept in it. Despite having slept for several hours, she still felt somewhat weak, telling her that she had been sick. Fortunately, after checking herself for signs of a fever she found no signs of it. Nevertheless, she promised herself to take it easy for a couple of days to ensure it wouldn't spring back up again. Gleewomen needed to take care of their health after all. She heard people talk outside, among which a voice she remembered all too well. It was him, Jon was back! And he survived! Pulling open the tentflaps, her look turned from excitement to concern as she noticed his wounds being tended to by a medic.
- "Oh Light, you're hurt!"
In a few strides, she had knelt next to him, checking him for a fever the same way she had checked herself back in the tent. After that, she helped the medic change his bandages. Though not originally a skill she had known, the entire world was at war with the Shadow, and basic medical care was considered a good thing to have. Though she'd never get near the skill of a trained medic, she could still do basic things like changing bandages and cleaning wounds.
- "So, did you kill a lot of Shadowspawn? -- Ouch, need to clean this -- I hope that tactic we planned out worked though -- Hand me those bandages there please -- And Aginor, did you get him?"
She kept on chattering, not really knowing what to say but it was a good way to release some of the worry she was feeling. After she had helped change his bandages, and the medic was moving on to chekc on the others in the army, Scylla just ended up sitting there on her knees, biting her lip as she looked into Jon's good eye. After a minute of silence where she didn't really know what to say, she decided to simply say the first thing on her mind.
- "So umm... Glad to see you're okay."

Martyn looked at the latest recruits, taking a deep breath while replaying the events that had gotten him in this position. There had been the battle in Shienar, a battle he himself had fought in. Casualties were high after no less than two of the Forsaken had joined in, and as a result the Black Tower now had a shortage in teachers. Thus, having previous experience leading troops, he was ordered to lend a hand and see if the new recruits were any good with a weapon.
- "Right. I am Martyn Stonebridge, and i will be teaching you about weapons today. You will all pick a weapon that feels right to you, that emphasizes your strengths -- and more importantly makes up for your weaknesses. It is said that you can tell a lot about a man based on the weapon he carries, and i can assure you there is truth in this. Now, let us begin."
From the way he stood, it was hard to deny his military background, his voice sounding used to giving orders. He had trained the militia in Kore Springs for roughly ten years in much the same way, turning them from farmboys into a properly trained and organised militia that stood ready mere minutes after an alarm was given. It felt good training recruits again, it brought up memories of before that accursed battle, when his main concern had simply been hiding his tracks from his family.
But still, memories were memories, and he dismissed that train of thought in favor of concentrating on the latest bunch of recruits in front of him. Some had held a weapon before, others hadn't, and he did his best to guide those that needed it to a weapon he believed to be a decent choice. If he would be wrong, well, there would be plenty of time left to switch to another weapon before the introductionary classes were over.

Scylla drank from the canteen, the coolness of the water being a blessing in itself compared to the feeling she was having as if she were on fire. She paused for a moment to catch her breath again, then drank some more. She put the canteen down again, looking at Jon that had knelt beside her, and simply nodded in acknowledgement. She was helped up, and even though she tried her best to walk she ended up dragging her feet more than once in the short walk over to where the tent had been hidden.
A little more disturbing though were the times her face touched Jon's, making him notice that she was running a fever from having spent the past couple of days out in the rain with little to no shelter or dry clothing. Upon reaching the tent, she lay down on the bedroll, taking a deep breath at the prospect of the first good opportunity to get some sleep in what felt like weeks. Before Jon would leave however, she'd turn to face him.
- "...Jon? Be careful out there. I'd hate to become a prisoner again after making it this far."
She fell asleep only seconds later, too soon to hear the reply -- if there would be any. It was clear she was worried for him, for all of them for that matter, but even if she had been in a condition to fight, she had never been a fighter. There was simply nothing more she could have done to help. As she slid back into a dreamless sleep, a welcome change from the nightmares that had plagued her, she hoped they would be able to make it back again.. safely...
Scylla
Sleeping. Ssh.
-
- "Mhm, on my way."
Scylla realised that Jon had been speaking the truth. The sweat she felt on her body wasn't only the small of her back, but had spread to other parts of her body as well. She momentarily let go of Jon's leg to wipe her forehead, and found that she was sweating all over now. Flying had taken more out of her than she had thought. Gaining some more altitude, she caught a gust of wind that took her away from the Shadowspawn army and back over the forest. From there, she had little trouble spotting the small clearing, and folded her wings to make a dive. Even though she had wanted to make a slower approach, there was simply too little room to properly manoever, or circle down for that matter.
Roughly fifty feet above ground level, she braced herself for impact as she spread her wings, allowing aerodynamics to slow her down in time, feeling Jon's momentum pushing her down yet fighting to remain balanced. Though the touchdown ended up being fairly smooth, all things considered, Scylla remained on all fours as exhaustion hit her, breathing heavily and sweating all over. Her vision had become blurry now, and she was fighting to remain conscious. Carrying a good hundred pounds of weight as high as she had flown had really taken a lot out of her, more than she had wanted to let on. As Jon got off of her, she simply remained where she was, lacking the strength to even get up on her own.

After the council, Melenis found herself looking a bit worried, casting uneasy glances in the forest to where she had scouting parties dispatched. Though she had made sure every group of three or four Tower Guards had at least one or two experienced scouts with them, accompanied with distinct orders to return and report in case anything was found. Fact remained that the main group had the Warders and Aes Sedai, and were overall the least likely to take any casualties.
Still, her nervousness was clear to see, and no matter how she tried to hide it it was clear from the way she was looking every time she heard a rustle from the bushes. She wanted to trust those under her command, but their mission in Amadicia kept playing in her mind, how the death of a fellow Tower Guard had shaken Loraine to her core. It was something she wanted to prevent from happening at all costs, moreso because that same Loraine was no twenty feet away from her.
Melenis
Overly worried
Jerinia noticed Perivar head off all of a sudden, and wondered where he'd be heading off to all of a sudden when there were scouts out, but decided not to ask Kabria about it. He'd have his reasons, she supposed, and she'd have to ask him about it later on if it'd still trouble her. Probably just a quick relief break, anyway.
When he returned however, she thought she noticed something about him, and allowed saidar to fill her. With the enhanced perception it gave she could now clearly see the scrapes and bruises on the Warder's body, and it didn't take much to put two and two together. The fact that they were in the Borderlands, added to Perivar calling a council right after geting back told her everything she needed to know. After he had fallen back to Kabria, she rode on the other side of him, keeping her voice down to keep the others from overhearing. Specifically, the Tower Guards, and possibly Selene to.
- "...There's Trollocs out, aren't there? Don't worry, i'm used to them, but is there something i can do to help?"
Her voice sounded reassuring, as if she were trying to comfort him of all things. In a way, she was, by telling him he wouldn't have to worry about her, but it still felt a bit odd now that she thought about it. Born and raised in a Malkieri border fortress, and later on with that Narg Trolloc during her Arches, there really wasn't much about Trollocs -- or Myrddraal, for that matter -- that she hadn't yet seen before. Well, Myrddraal might still be a little tougher, what with that fear gaze and everything, but at least she could handle the Trollocs. Probably.

Wants to help

Scylla found she had to raise her voice in order to reply, making her cast somewhat uneasy glances downward to see if she was being overheard despite knowing better at these distances. Unlike Jon, she couldn't exactly put her head close to his to talk, not while concentrating on keeping the both of them in the air, anyway. With his weight pressing down on her, it was getting warm in the small of her back, but her cloak managed to absorb most of the sweat for now. Despite being a bit old, it had been her favorite cloak for a reason.
- "We could try to get the army to circle around, outflank the main force! Can't drag the prisoners along if they start routing, and the Forsaken's own forces will block his view!"
She waited on Jon's reply, gliding to a position behind the army to lessen the chance of someone spotting her. If Jon would have his hands on the harness on her back, he would feel a shiver run down her spine as she spotted the place she was being held. There never was a shortage of captives, and she pitied the poor person that had replaced her as a test subject after her escape.
Though no general, her father had been an officer when Tzora fell, and as an only child she had ended up playing stones with him for the sheer reason that her mother had no talent for the game whatsoever. And even though she had never led an army, it was still a bit easier when the armies below her did indeed look as small as the pieces on a Stones board.

There's a WOT mod on NWN? First or second game?
Had great fun with that game... Ended up with a Monk build that soloed Klauth (be it with some specialised equipment). Also, did you know that in HotU, if you paused the game before the Valsharess hits the ground (and Meph breaks free) you can loot her corpse while the game's still paused if you're in melee range? And that Valen (the half-fiend companion) can actually wear that dominatrix suit of hers? XD

OOC: To complete the set, all you need to do is post once here (and in Class III if you haven't posted there yet). This thread will remain Open after that for those that want to finish the test, but all i'd need is one correct answer after which you can consider this Req done. More posts are of course encouraged, though not mandatory ;)

Jerinia was grinning as she waited for her students to arrive. Much like in her last class, she had had some things brought in again, only this time there would be a sponge in a bucket of water standing next to every desk, including her own. She studied the sheet of parchment that was on her desk again, describing the test she had worked out with the help of Chamindhra Sedai. Though she knew the White Ajah generally looked down on her lack of forethought and planning, they hadn't turned down a request for help.
Behind her there were five words, created using the Five Threads, floating in midair behind her. The 'weaves' were tied off, but those that knew her handwriting would have no problem figuring out who had been responsable for them. The words read:
AIR
EARTH
FIRE
SPIRIT
WATER
As her students would come in, she'd greet them as she always did, and wait until they were all seated before habitually walking in front of her desk to begin talking about what she wanted them to do.
- "First off, congratulations on making it this far. You've all made great progress, and i'm proud to say that this will likely be the last class you'll be getting from me. Well... provided you pass this little test, of course."
She chuckled at that, and turned around to lift the bucket on top of her own desk. After rolling up her sleeve, she took the sponge out, showing everyone that it had indeed soaked itself full of water before dropping it in the bucket again. She motioned to the words she had written with the five threads behind her, and continued her speech.
- "This test is about practical uses of the Power. As you are well aware by now, there can be large differences between two Aes Sedai in terms of strength, both overall and in specific elements. Using myself as an example, i am quite strong in Air and my potential in Fire is among the highest in the Tower, but there are Novices around that can beat me when it comes to Earth and Water. This test is a test of the mind more than anything else, to make you realise that there are several ways of achieving the same goal. If you are weak in a specific element, simply work around it and use another."
She put the bucket down on the floor again, and leaned against her desk again, running her hands through her once again crimson -- she had managed to get her hands on some dye during a Freeday -- hair. Taking a deep breath, she waited for her last speech to sink in before telling them what they'd actually be needing to do.
- "Now, you all have a bucket and sponge, and your goal is to tell me a way to get the water out of the sponge. You don't have to show me, but you can test out any theories on your own bucket and sponge before replying. I'll say that there are five possible answers to this test, and every time someone has a correct answer i will strike it off the list behind me, meaning you can't use that element in your answer any more. No double answers i'm afraid, girls."
She winked at them, giving them an encouraging smile as she waited for the first one to answer. A couple of answers were obvious, some others weren't, but she hadn't called in the help of a White for nothing! It should be fun to see what they'd come up with...

OOC: I actually have a pic of her posted in the second post of this thread. Just click on 'something completely different' and it should take you to her.

Scylla took a deep breath, swishing her tail back and forth and testing her wings to see if she had all the mobility she needed before taking to the skies. A look at the trees told her that her angle of ascent needed to be pretty steep to get out of the clearing, and after a few flaps to test how much Jon would be weighing her down she took off, feeling him hold onto the makeshift harness as he tried to keep balanced despite the angle. She could almost feel his breath in her neck, and tried very hard to ignore it as she gained height.
A relative short -- and seemingly long -- while later, they were clearing the treetops, and Scylla flew up a bit higher still in order to get as much distance between any scouts on the ground and herself. Alone, she could be mistaken for a bird in the way perspective played with the senses at times. With a rider however she just wanted to be out of arrow range just in case. Below them, they had a clear view of the battlefield, entire regiments looking as small as ants, the large trees where they had camped seeming as small as blades of grass.
She placed her hands on Jon's legs, providing some additional support in case he would get dizzy looking down. Light, she had gotten dizzy the first time, and had almost caused her to crash into a tree had she not been able to snap out of it. Either way, she doubted his men would have appreciated their commander being turned into a pancake any more than she would have. Switching to gliding to give her wings a rest, she waited for Jon to point out where he'd like her to go next.

*takes deep breath* Okay, here goes...
Now, backstory wise, i should let you know the very first forum RP i was in was called Flaming Scrolls. It was a single thread, unmoderated, and the five people in it (including myself) had no previous experience whatsoever. The setting was medieval fantasy, and the party consisted of a half-mithra android, a heroic warrior we all nicknamed 'Berserker King' due to his tendency to charge in without thinking, a small dragon (that often outsmarted the warrior even though it couldn't speak, in later threads it grew up and became a mount) and more anime referrences than was considered healthy for ANY setting.
In all, we had mad fun ;D
Anyway, my dream.
I dreamt i was being called to the mayor's house, they were having a problem. Some scientists kidnapped all the women in the world and held them captive in a big factory, and for some vague reason they told me only i could save them. I didn't have any special powers or anything, but they semeed to think i was their best choice to negotiate, so i shrugged and walked towards the factory, a large amount of people standing at a safe distance watching me try to save the women.
In the factory, i see Eikichi (one of the characters in FS) wearing his usual black clothes, and a white labcoat over it. So, i'm all relaxed, casually ask him why he kidnapped all the women in the world. He turns to me with a somewhat crazy look in his eyes, and starts to speak.
Turned out, he invented a machine that could control the weather. But when he had tried to present his invention, all the other scientists laughed at him, telling him he was crazy and that it couldn't be done. Well, he'd show them! He kidnapped all the women in the world, to turn them into ONE BIG (emphasized) snowflake! And then, they'd all see that he was telling the truth. No one would ever laugh at him again! MUAHAHAA!!
So while he was giving me a tour of the facility, i notice a large conveyor belt with women standing on it, chatting and gossiping with each other as if nothing out of the ordinary was going on. They were standing together in groups of three or four, and i felt somewhat annoyed at their gossiping, to be honest. There were plexiglass walls on both sides of the belt to keep them from stepping off, and it led into a large ACME-style machine that i guessed would be the weather machine he had built. I noticed one of the women looking around, essentially being the only one noticing something was wrong, and somehow recognised her as Sharper (account name of another player, and yes, she's female irl). I think to myself "Hey, i'll remember what she looks like, should be fun telling her about it on MSN.", but then i remember what i came there to do. So i start talking to Eikichi to talk him out of it.
Me - "So umm... Are you planning to let them go?"
Eikichi - "No! I need to turn them into ONE BIG snowflake!"
Me - "Awwh, come on, at least let Sharper go. We need her for Flaming Scrolls."
Eikichi - "Well that's true... Okay, but just her!"
Me - "Deal."
A hidden door in the plexiglass wall opened, and Sharper jumped off of the conveyor belt. As i left the facility with her, the people that had sent me in were all cheering at that i managed to talk him out of it. As behind me the sound of a large machine starting up was heard coming from the factory, i woke up.
Now, the BEST part is when i contacted the other players on MSN with my dream. I told Sharper in detail what she looked like in my dream, and it turned out i was right, too. Height, build, hair color and length (small of her back), clothes right down to the type and color of her shoes... All right. Only two things i had wrong were the color of her shirt and something else i can't recall atm. Note that i live in Holland, and she lives in Canada, and we never saw each other irl :P
So yeah... Beat that ;D

Scylla found that having something on her hands did indeed help to get her mind off of being around a camp full of soldiers on edge. She smiled as Jon told her his name, and mentioned something she had forgotten. Being used to staying at Inns at night to make a living, she had never really had the chance to use telescopes much, and thus it hadn't been one of the first things on her mind when she was making the list. It would be interesting though to find out just what she could see from that far up. She had spotted Jon's band of soldiers from the treetops earlier, but this would be the first time she could really try and find out just how far she could see.
The clothing arrived, and she gave the men a look that they would probably know all too well. She might have wings, she might have purplish skin and she might have gone through the Creator knows what to have her become what she was now, but fact remained she was a woman, and women needed some privacy when changing clothes. After Jon and his soldiers found themselves ushered outside of their own command tent, she started to remove her clothing, what unfortunately came down to tearing off the remains. She had been wearing them during her... change, and apart from the cloak, gloves and boots it was all simply too heavily damaged to even survive being taken off.
She looked at the clothes she had been given again, wincing visibly as she tore out sections of her shirt where it would cover the back so that she would be able to get it past her wings. The trousers posed less of a problem, all they really needed was a slight tear at the back so she could pull them up without restricting her tail too much. She then put on her old cloak again to cover what she had needed to tear out of her shirt before she started saddling herself, all the while muttering that she must have become crazy for doing this. The belts were arranged to form a makeshift harness on her back, and make it easier for Jon to grab hold of should sudden winds threaten to unbalance him.
- "Okay, i'm done, coming out now!"
She walked outside, finding that she couldn't resist turning around in front of the Wolfkin to show off her new clothing. While it didn't look like much compared to the things she had worn in the past, the simple fact that she was wearing relatively whole clothing again felt like a blessing of the Light itself, and it showed in the wide grin on her face. She cleared her throat again to get herself back under control, and crouched down, waiting for Jon to erm... mount her.
- "Right. I've never done this before, obviously, so if i'm climbing a little too fast or leaning into a curve too much be sure to tell me, okay? Likewise, i'll try to warn you if i need to make any big movements or land again. You can adjust the belts on my back as you see fit to get a good hold on them, just make sure you watch where you're grabbing in case of an emergency. I'm still a woman, you know."

Irian looked in the direction Thera had just pointed in, noticing a white building in the distance. He figured that Aes Sedai must have liked the color white a lot to make nearly all the buildings white like that. To his modest opinion, it would have been a pain in the backside to keep it clean, but then again he probably wouldn't have to in the first place.
- "Will do, ma'm. I'll try not to be late tomorrow though, but i'm just not used to waking up early anymore these days. I'm guessing it'll take me a few weeks to adjust i hope."
The bed wasn't the problem, he was. He had been a bouncer for the past couple of years, meaning that during that time he had gone to bed only after the Inn closed, and didn't wake up until somewhere early... in the afternoon. He assumed they were more punctual here, but he already wasn't looking forward much to the twisting and turning that seemed inevitable the first time he would be going to sleep at what was considered a normal time to people with day jobs.
