I wouldn't mind a Tarren Ferry callback at all. I don't hate the Whitecloaks helping out, but I can't see how I'd like them saving the day. I wouldn't be surprised to see wolves involved in some way. At the end of the day, I feel like there might be a "save the day" moment, I just hope it's not an army...I feel like it should be some kind of singular event, but I admittedly don't know how that gets accomplished. I just don't want it to overshadow the TR folk just winning from sheer stubbornness. And if they want to give the whole arc justice, there should be tangible losses on the side of the TR folk. I don't think I've seen anything indicating the Tinkers there, but if we see Aram pick up a sword....I will give them a ton of credit for keeping that close to the vest.

  19. She (or someone) did say something like that, but I don't see how they would know how it actually works. I don't think anyone in this age is aware of the True Power. The way it looked with the Saa in her eyes, I think we are meant to believe she's doing it herself. Although show only people don't know about the True Power either so.... Back on topic, I'm looking forward to the Moggy vs Nynaeve showdown and everything TAR
  20. Yep. More episodes, more character development, world building, better CGI and battle scenes. Maybe some more characters (Semirhage) I just can believe how much money they dump into a fan fic show in a beloved world vs an adaptation in another beloved, albeit less known, one.

  26. Yea I think the Way of the Leaf was well explained. They just need to show some of those scenes in the "previously on" recap thing to refresh memories. I also don't think they need a ton of background on the Aiel, but some key things would help. As far as I know, I don't think they've mentioned their aversion to swords. A warrior culture not using swords makes for an interesting quirk. And maybe they will cross paths with Tinkers so we can learn about "lost ones." They could also have Rhuarc tell Rand some of this stuff as well. Maybe give the audience a refresher on why it's called the Three-fold Land. I don't think they need to spend a ton of time on it, I just hope they get those things in at least. I have plenty of complaints about the show, but I do think the took a big step forward with S2, so I'm hoping for an even bigger one this time. This show could really hit its stride this season, and I'm excited and hopeful it will.
  27. Hey all. Can't believe this account is still active. Probably been about 14 years since I've posted here. One thing I'd like to see is the dai'shan aiel(sp) linking arms and singing as a callback to season 1 Tu'Authuon. So much this. I actually have faith that they won't butcher it, and even more, that it will be well.done. Without the context though...it will never have the emotional impact it does in the books. I hope it comes close
