  3. I sure do! I have this one that I prepare before a campout that you all might enjoy. You can finish cooking it on either a grill or a campfire. It's a favorite here in the South because you can throw (or "jamble") in anything left over. I like to use chicken, shrimp, and some andouille sausage. You could even use just veggies as well. It's like our version of Fried Rice. Grilled Jambalaya
  4. I would be remiss if I did not add a classic from where I'm from in the Deep South. It's called Chocolate Gravy (no not syrup or pudding) and Biscuits. It's usually eaten on Christmas morning, traditionally, but it's a comfort food so it's good all the time. Enjoy! Southern Style Chocolate Gravy and Biscuits

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I'm happy to see Rhuarc cast. He was always a favorite of mine in the books especially after my reread.
  8. I have all of you have a Happy New Year! May it be blessed and filled with good times.

  12. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as well. May it be filled with good memories, full tables (and bellies), warm stoves, long days, and pleasant nights.

  14. This is where the magic happens….well, some of it anyway. 😁 I get into the holiday season just a LITTLE bit.....😉 Some are from the Home Office and a few are from work. I have to make sure not to capture any PHI (patient health info) in those photos.
  15. Oh it was around $240 a month which wasn't too bad. I only had to pay insurance twice a year and that helped. I was just happy to finally a car that had a good battery and I didn't have to worry if it would start after I got off work. 🙄 Yes, Discworld was such a delight! I think my favorites were always the witches and Lancre and The City Watch. They always had me cracking up. Death had some good ones a well.
  16. Oh and here's another that is equally important from any breakfast around a campfire. Homemade Sausage Patties or Links
  17. Oh yeah and some campfire pancakes never hurt either. Campfire Pancakes with Peanut Maple Syrup.
  18. This sounds like right place and time for a thread devoted to things to eat around the campfire (or outdoors while sitting in a camp). We have a few places/businesses here locally that make homemade sourdough bread, and it is amazing! IMO Every great meal starts with bread. What are some of your favorite campfire recipes or meals you prep if you're going to be on the go? Sourdough Bread Starter Recipe
