I am greatly disappointed in Linkin Park's new album "A Thousand Suns" I am VERY glad I listened to it before I went and bought it. Out of a 16 song album I found 2 songs that I like (with maybe 1 or 2 more that might bare better after 2nd or 3rd listening). Like 3 of the songs are not even them singing its their "instrumental" songs. I found 3 song I liked on Minutes to Midnight and I like almost all of the songs on Meteora and Hybrid Theory. *sigh* It seems that their new "change" has disappointed me...again. *continues to rant about music not being what it used to be with one of his old favorite bands*

Just curious if anyone else has read it yet. I approve of it.

I am not sure, but I am starting an album for the pictures I took while on my visit back home over the summer - I set the album to Friends Only, and yet, when I look, I have views...which should not be possible because I do not have friends yet. Are those the administration looking at them, who might have that power, or is there something messed-up and it is not private at all ? If it is the latter, I would like to know so I can take the entire album down; I do not want the whole world to see them, and definitely if I upload personal pictures. Charis lit the torches on the walls of the dance hall. It was a perfect fall day, late afternoon, the sun just starting to set. She opened all the doors to the patios and balconies outside so that the freh fall air would keep the dancers cool. Last night...I had a dream. In it, I created hundreds of Ed Clones. That is all. Oh, and a second dream was my whole extended family at some country-side house with a barn...I was forced to kill random members of my family for information. Instead, I let them go and tried to kill the ones who were being all tyrant-y. o_O

I thought it important to address articles (or die Geschlechtswörter, literally "sex words") before I could move on into accusative or ablative or anything else in a sentence; they play a huge role. English of course does not have these, short of "a" (indefinite) or "the" (definite) and since there is no gender or concern for cases, they do not change. Deutsch, on the other hand, has certain articles for certain genders, and these change depending on whether the nouns are nominative (Nominativ), accusative (Akkusativ), indirect/dative (Dativ), or possesive (Genitiv). I have had to think hard on this, because my initial way of teaching Deutsch, by teaching it similiar to how I learned English, just is not going to work. I really cannot start with sentence structure because Deutsch is far more complex in sentence structure in English, so I am going to introduce some simple words (a little at a time!) and use them in combination with some simple verbs to give you a feel for it before I discuss in detail what actually decides who the verbs are declined and such. I went to the Black Tower page and I saw I have ten points...and I am little confused. How do I spend them, if ten points can buy anything ? There was a link for spending them on the website, but it gives me an error everytime I try to open it. I am guessing maybe it is because of the DM makeover, and the place is somewhere else now ?

There once was a pie. A peach pie. It wasn't a very good pie. Nor a tasty pie. You could hardly call it a pie really.... but strangely, everyone did. The pie was always depressed because no one wanted to eat it.... everyone just wanted to be FRIENDS. How pathetic they must have found this pie to be... if they sought friendship alone. The pie traveled the world in search of someone hungry stupid enough to eat it... but not even the starving people in the third world countries wanted anything to do with it. Anyone else here have an accent of some kind ? Well, some people like to call them speech impediments, but, anyways. Just made me curious because in my college, there is a visiting professor from China, and he has a very heavy accent that everyone loves to heckle. It is a bit thoughtful, since I wonder if there is a running joke about me and the way I speak; I can hardly ever say the sound "th" the first time around and I do not pronounce words quite the same, because I do not speak English solely and I still mix the pronounciation up a bit - and I just do not think I will ever be able to say "th" smoothly, no matter how many times I say it. That is one of the hardes…

It just occured to me ! How would everyone feel if I tried to teach Deutsch in a post or posts at least twice a week ? Would anyone actually be interested in trying to learn ? I am not a teacher, but what I shall do, I would teach it in the sequence I learned English, only with Deutsch, to the best of my ability here. I would try to focus mostly on grammatics and some more specified words - because a lot of people seem to know the simple stuff, like the numbers, already. I think ? But I have to know first; would anyone like to learn at all ?

Time to learn your alphabet all over again. Lol, not really - we are learning the Deutsch alphabet, but it is almost exactly like the English system, except in pronunciation and some extra letters. Such things like this. Knowing the extra letters is very important; but, I suppose if you do not want to learn how to speak it, just write it, the pronounciation might not be so important.
