As we are adding Sport to the Org, I thought I would mention that Bobby Robson (Ex england Manager) died, after a battle against cancer. He took England to the World Cup Semi Finals in 1990, where they lost to Germany in penalty shootout. He eventually went on to Manager other Clubs, including Newcastle, the team he supported when a lad. Now that must have been some dream come true!

A man was driving down the road and ran out of petrol. Just at that moment, a bee flew in his window. The bee said, 'What seems to be the problem?' 'I'm out of petrol,' the man replied. The bee told the man to wait right there and flew away. Minutes later, the man watched as an entire swarm of bees flew to his car and into his petrol tank. After a few minutes, the bees flew out. 'Try it now,' said one bee. The man turned the ignition key and the car started right up. 'Wow!' the man exclaimed, 'what did you put in my gas tank'? The bee answered,

Okay, I was posting another thread on the BT board, and something I typed made my mind jump to this. So, I know different people pronounce the same words differently, sometimes, and it can be dependent upon the region they live in, native language, personal/biological tendencies, etc. Okay, how do you pronounce the word "route?" When dealing with road terms, like "Route 66," I say it so it rhymes with "boot." In 99% of the other cases, I say it so it rhymes with "out." Like, "paper route." How about you? And what do you call that carbonated drink you like so much? Pop? Soda? Coke? (etc...)

This is a "spur of the moment idea" sort of thing. This is a short story of 607 words, enjoy! Dalwyn, the High General of the Light Army, was standing on the white sandy beach looking towards the sea with a spyglass to his right eye. The hot sun was beating down on him and the army of footmen behind with the cavalry flanking on either side, making them all sweat and squint in the harsh light. He was a muscular man with broad shoulders, and clean-shaven. His hair was a pale blond and fell to his shoulders and he had stunning green eyes. He wore a white cloak amd a burnished breastplate with leather gauntlets. He had white trousers and his sword at his hip. …

Hi I'm David Hermes, at least that is my nickname. I'm 17 and live in England and I have just finished my GCSEs! I am a fanatical reader and I am writing my own fantasy book, a trilogy actually. I would like to work as a dentist in the future. Despite my serious side I also have a very laid-back side to me, and enjoy playing games. I like conversing with people especially people with the same interests and I would love to get to know fellow fans of the wheel of time.

In a castle in the clouds, Queen Diane, her face red from strain and her hands deathly white from grasping the bed posts, was on her bed in labour. Next to the Queen sat the mid-wife helping her through the labour. The Queen's room was circular in shape and painted pink. The eaves were made of gold and there was an elaborate chandelier made of many tiny diamond crystals which reflected the light from the golden eaves, so making the chandelier shine like a miniature sun. The bed was made of mahogany, the mattress was of soft down, the bedsheets and blankets were made of pure white silk, and the pillows were made of red velvet. Nythaganius, the King was very anxio…
