Hey everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know I'm back now, and apologize for the fact that I didn't say anything about me leaving XD lol Had some things that needed taking care of.

So, because I'm nosey, what are you qualified in? What would you like as an ideal profession? Etc. I'll, obviously, go first =) I have GCSE A grades in English Lit and Lang, Drama and Science. The rest are Bs. I have A levels in Psychology, Critical Thinking, Law and English Lit and Lang. And a National Diploma in Performing Arts. I'm currently studying for a Masters Degree in Psychology. Meaningless qualifications: I have full training for health and safety, I'm a fire warden and am taking first aid courses. What about everyone else? =)

So after a few moments of deep though I have decided that I shall follow the advice of the wise ol' Monty Python crew and look at the bright light side of the tower. In plain terms I have decided to choose Light over Shadow, Victory over Defeat, Good over Evil and Amazingly Good-looking, Clever and Attractive over Shadow (just repeating myself now aren't I? .... and so I enter a new world of playful banter in the Tower

I'm borted, so any suggestions on what I could do... Please try and keep it clean....I only said try ;)

Do your friends ever compare you to other people from TV shows/movies/books/video games/etc? Sadly, mine do. Also sadly...according to my friends, I'm Jordan from Scrubs >.>

Inspired by cindys money topic. So, what would your ideal future be? This is without winning the lottery etc. Mine is fairly simple. Ideally, I'd like to get a job as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist. Meet someone and buy a house together. Get married and have a "big, white wedding." Then have children. Ideally two boys and a girl; James, Connor and Sienna. I'd like to send them to a nice school aswell. They local comp was terrible when I went there and it's gone seriously downhill now.

OKay, I think this is the perfect place to start this topic. The Dark Tower Series was the franchise that got me reading fiction (The Wheel of Time was shortly thereafter) and I was wondering if anyone has also read it and what are your thoughts on it?

Apparently I'm a hotel! but I like my Urban dictionary: 1. another name for a pitchfork; Also an amazingly awesome person who knows all and knows how to party (well i do have fire tongs...so close enough to pitch fork) 2. A female, generally an awesome one, she hates people, is cynical, occasionally morbid, has great taste in literature, a bit short although she makes up for it in how awesome she is, loves food more than living, a much better person than she may think, and an amazing friend. 3. A super cool, fun, kind, loving, gorgeous person. She is always nice, and a great friend. HAHA... so what can you find about your DM Handle?

Inspired by a conversation with cindy. What's your favourite accent? Do you have one that stands out from your friends? My favourite accent is the Irish accent. My accent wouldn't stand out if I didn't live in Devon XD I have the same accent as the guy who plays Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl (he's British, for anyone who doesn't know) and can't think of a female alternative =/ Maybe Emma Watson? =/ Different tone of voice though.

So I'm a huge fan of Dune. I read Dune way back when and forgot about it. A couple years ago I picked it back up and devoured the series. I've been surprised to find out that a lot of people here haven't read Dune and I'm shocked. So the Aiel vs Fremen, Stillgar vs Rhuarc and has RJ had a single original thought when it comes to the Aiel has become standard questions. So I'm wondering if anyone thinks RJ didn't lift the Aiel directly from Dune? Discuss.

Thread inspired by Cindy. So It seems like most folks here are metalheads with a few electronicas thrown in. For the most part though it seems like you all know what good music is when it's composed well, regardless of genre.
